Girl Meets World stars Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter are really taking over the world — they just booked two new Disney Channel Original Movies!
Rowan, 13, will star with Mighty Med‘s Paris Berelc in Invisible Sister, which is a comedy adventure story of Cleo, a girl whose science project goes terribly wrong, making her popular older sister Molly suddenly invisible.
Sabrina, 15, will star with the Descendants star Sofia Carson in Further Adventures in Babysitting, which is inspired by the hugely popular 1980s film Adventures in Babysitting. A reimagined tale of the popular teen film, a dull evening for two competing babysitters, Jenny and Luci, turns into an adventure in the big city as they hunt for one of the kids who somehow snuck away.
“We know these four young actresses all have the potential for extraordinary careers, and we’re excited to give them new opportunities to showcase their talents. We’re especially proud of Rowan and Sabrina, as they have helped drive the success of our hit series ‘Girl Meets World’,” Adam Bonnett, Executive Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide shared.
Both movies are expected to premiere later this year and early 2016.
