Camila Cabello Looked Up To Demi Lovato When She Was Younger

Camila Cabello is a huge Demi Lovato fan, and we can’t get enough of it!

The 20-year-old singer went down memory lane a little in a recent interview and revealed that Demi influenced how she sings, what her favorite songs are of hers, and even sang a little and sounded just like Demi.

“Oh my God, that made me smile so big. So amazing. I love her,” Camila said about Demi gushing over her song “Never Be The Same.” “That literally made my day and she’s so supportive of me, she’s so sweet.”

“It’s the nicest thing ever, ’cause you know, when I started posting YouTube covers when I was 15, and her song is the only one that I left on. ‘Skyscraper’,” she continued. “Demi was one of the girls that I looked up to when I was younger.”

“I was a huge, I was a big Demi Lovato fan, I loved all of her songs, you know, even like the deep cuts like [sings] “For The Love of a Daughter,” from Unbroken. I was obsessed with that album and I was also obsessed with you know, early Demi Lovato, like ‘Trainwreck’, ‘La La Land’. Like when she was with the guitar. I literally could name you all of the songs on that album. She really influenced me in how I sing.”
