India Eisley Reveals She Almost Chose This Other Career Path Before Acting Came Along

India Eisley keeps it classic in a chic black dress for the premiere of I Am the Night held at Metrograph on Tuesday night (January 22) in New York City.

Later on, the 25-year-old actress joined her co-stars at the after party, held at 214 Lafayette.

While chatting up the new mini-series, India revealed that she almost became a dancer, before acting came along.

“There was a period of time when I studied ballet a lot when I was growing up,” she says. “There was a point when I thought about being a dancer but I loved acting.”

India adds, “As a painfully shy kid, my fun time was locking myself away and watching movie after movie after movie. Watching a good performance to me was like getting a new toy. Ultimately, the career of a dancer is very, very short.”

I Am the Night premieres January 28th on TNT.
