Ariel Winter and boyfriend Luke Benward make their way back to their car after Ariel‘s dermatologist appointment on Friday afternoon (May 22) in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old Modern Family actress kept things casual in a black T-shirt and sweats while the 25-year-old Dumplin’ actor wore a red Alabama shirt and gray shorts for their outing.

Earlier this month, Ariel threw Luke the surprise party for his 25th birthday, complete with letter balloons, and judging from the pictures, he looked very surprised!

Luke Benward plants a big kiss on girlfriend Ariel Winter in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (May 12).

The Dumplin’ star got surprised by Ariel, 22, with a drive by birthday party for his 25th birthday, complete with letter balloons that spelled out his name.

Later on in the day, Ariel shared a sweet birthday message for Luke on her Instagram Story.

“I feel beyond lucky to be your bunny,” Ariel wrote. “Thank you for putting a permanent smile on my face.”

She added in another pic later, “I guess what I’m trying to say is…dating your best friend is amazing & I’m lucky.”

Oh no! Ariel Winter sliced off the tip of her thumb!

The 22-year-old actress opened up to Access Hollywood in a new interview, and showed off the bandage wrapped around her thumb from top to bottom.

Ariel explained that she had accidentally sliced off the tip of her thumb while she was chopping up a tomato for a dish she was making for dinner, and shared that after slicing it, cut an artery and it wouldn’t stop bleeding.

“He [boyfriend Luke Benward] actually brought the tip of my finger to the hospital,” she shared, adding that she got it back from a nurse afterwards. “She actually just gave it to me in a plastic bag and didn’t tell me it was the tip of my thumb too, so I accidentally threw it away and we had to go get it.”

Modern Family is coming to an end tonight (April 8)!

The long running series began in 2009, and went on for 11 seasons.

The kids on the show, who are mostly not kids anymore, have been sharing tidbits, behind the scenes photos and more are looking back at their time before the finale.

“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened. To put it in Bachelor terms, I’ve had an incredible journey with this show. Our cast and crew were always phenomenal and we very quickly grew to be a real life #modernfamily I will miss these people tremendously but am so grateful I was lucky enough to work with them. So get your tissues ready… The end of 11 years with @abcmodernfam airs tonight on @abcnetwork 8/7c pm. Thank you all for being there every step of the way. We love you 💕,” Sarah Hyland captioned a photo on Instagram.

“With only a fews day left before the series finale of Modern Family, I thought I would share some memories of my time on the show. Starting with the award shows we attended. What an honor it was to stand next to my cast on these stages and accept these awards not just on our behalf, but on behalf of our crew too. We never, ever took this for granted. I mean, if you would’ve told 8 year old Rico he would one day win a Kids’ Choice Award and get slimed on stage, he would’ve said ‘Man, I’ve made it!’” Rico Rodriguez wrote on his account.

Ariel Winter is ready for whatever comes next in her life!

The 22-year-old actress spilled on her post-Modern Family plans and how she’s been preparing herself.

“This is new territory for me. I was doing something very specific for so long. Now I have to reset my mind and retrain myself to be in that place of, ‘All right, I am ready to look for the next thing.’ I am ready to work,” Ariel told Teen Vogue.

She continued, “I am ready to do everything I can. I am ready to be in the right mindset to go in there again and be able to face the rejection that will come, and be able to move past that and go to the next audition and be ready for it. And be ready for things in my personal life. Just living.”

As for the most important thing? “I want to stay the same person I am. It’s way more rewarding at the end of the day. I want to stay the person I am, work hard, and see what happens.”

Ariel Winter is opening up about always getting body shamed online.

The 22-year-old Modern Family actress talked about how she handles the hate and one thing that she didn’t quite think of until she saw a comment pointing it out.

“People on the internet really suck. It bothered me for so many years — I mean, it still does. It never goes away. When someone calls you a ‘fat slut,’ you’re not feeling happy about it. It doesn’t matter what you look like now, it doesn’t matter what you looked like then,” Ariel told Teen Vogue. “You’re still going to read that and be like, ‘Oh, that sucks.’”

“I feel like that [pain] never goes away. People are like, ‘How do you get that to go away? It doesn’t bother you at all anymore.’ Again, that’s missing the point. What I’ve said is, I’ve learned to deal with it more,” she said about making the negative comments matter less. “It’s a journey of being confident enough to look at that and evaluate my opinion of myself, which I’m not fully at yet. I’m still working there.”

Ariel also pointed out that one comment in particular really made her think and re-evaluate.

“I had someone comment on one of my pictures, and it really bugged me. They said, ‘So many people on your photos, it really is divided. So many people show so much love and support, and you spend so much time on the negative comments and ignore all the positive ones.’ It really sucked to read that because that’s true,” Ariel said. “You overlook the positive comments, because as soon as you see the positive ones it’s like, ‘Okay, great, but these people don’t agree.’ But why do those people’s [negative] comments matter more than those [positive] comments?”

Ariel Winter heads back to her car after loading up on some groceries at Gelson’s market in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The 22-year-old actress took extra precaution for her store run with a mask and gloves.

The next day (March 30), Ariel was seen stopping by a local camera shop and picking up a camera and tripod for a project that she could do during quarantine at home.

If you missed it, Ariel was seen out earlier this month, making a quick stop to another store for some snacks.
