August Maturo is speaking out after his family has been unable to access a coronavirus test for his younger brother.

The 12-year-old actor took to his Instagram to reveal his younger brother Ocean has been sick with an unidentified illness and unable to get tested.

“My little brother Ocean is sick, he tested negative for Influenza A & B, so we asked for a Coronavirus test. GUESS WHAT? There are no tests, and it’s almost impossible to get one. We live in Ventura County with almost 1,000,000 people here and only 77 people TOTAL have been tested. THIS MAKES 0 SENSE!” August wrote.

He continued, “I’m not very worried about Ocean, because he’s young & strong, but I’m worried about my 80 yr old grandmother who lives with us! And my family members with asthma! THIS IS THE USA – WHY ARE THERE NO TESTS FOR US?”

August asked for fans to contact California governor Gavin Newsom and local reps to demand public access to the tests.

We hope Ocean is soon able to access a test and make a quick recovery.

Anais and Mirabelle Lee had the ultimate 13th birthday bash!

The twin sisters and social media stars hosted a neon birthday celebration with Rizzo’s Curls and Piggy Paints over the weekend in Hollywood, Calif.

The duo were joined by tons of their famous friends including Elias Harger, Akira Akbar, August Maturo, Sanai Victoria, Artyon Celestine, Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio.

During the party, guests were treated to a hair and nail bar, catering by Tacos El Gueraso and beats by DJ Evan Kozin.

McKenna Grace shows off her dress while attending the premiere of her new movie Troop Zero held at Pacific Theatres at The Grove on Monday (January 13) in Los Angeles.

The 13-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Kai Ture, Bella Higginbotham, Charlie Shotwell, Milan Ray, and Johanna Colon.

Troop Zero is set in rural 1977 Georgia, where a misfit girl dreams of life in outer space. When a national competition offers her a chance at her dream, to be recorded on NASA’s Golden Record, she recruits a makeshift troop of Birdie Scouts, forging friendships that last a lifetime and beyond. Also in attendance at the premiere were McKenna‘s friends August Maturo, Lidya Jewett, London Cheshire, and Raegan Revord, and her Fuller House co-star Elias Harger, as well as Genesis Tennon, who is the daughter of Viola Davis, who’s also in the movie.

FYI: McKenna is wearing a custom Philsophy dress.

August Maturo has his next movie role lined up!

The 11-year-old Girl Meets World actor has snagged the leading role in the upcoming horror flick Slapface, Variety reports.

He’ll play “a boy who deals with the loss of his mother by creating a relationship with a dangerous monster.”

Jeremiah Kipp will direct.

August has also starred in the 2018 horror film The Nun.

August Maturo is remembering when Girl Meets World first started!

The 11-year-old actor of course starred as Auggie on the Disney Channel series, which premiered five years ago on June 27th, 2014.

“I remember when we first started this show, and no one had seen it yet, and our creator Michael Jacobs (his birthday is tomorrow, btw) told us ‘One day you will all grow up to be big stars, and you will forget all about this show. And maybe one day you’ll open up a drawer and see the DVD’s of ‘Girl’ and you’ll pick them up & remember this time in your life as a happy one, and you’ll know you created something special. Something you can be proud of,’” he said.

“We see all of your posts and messages today about the 5 yr anniversary of #GirlMeetsWorld & what this show meant/means to you guys. We see you and we are grateful. ❤️#5yearsofGirlMeetsWorld,” August added.

McKenna Grace simply stuns in a black dress at the premiere of her new film, Annabelle Comes Home, held at Regency Village Theatre on Thursday night (June 20) in Westwood, Calif.

The 12-year-old actress walked the red carpet with her co-stars Madison Iseman, and Katie Sarife, plus BFF August Maturo came out to support her.

Sammi Hanratty, Teala Dunn, Jake T. Austin, Pierson Fode and Crystal Reed were also seen at the premiere.

Annabelle Comes Home debuts in theaters on June 26th.
