We are kicking things off this week with Ed Sheeran‘s brand new song “Bad Habits.”

Ed also dropped the music video, with his BFF Taylor Swift saying, “It’s Ed and it’s glitter so it’s a yes for me.”

Ben Platt reprises his Tony Award-winning role as the title character in the film version of the hit Broadway show.
Stephen Chbosky directed the film, about an anxious, isolated high schooler aching for understanding and belonging amid the chaos and cruelty of the social-media age.

Here’s a synopsis: “The story follows Evan Hansen, a high schooler with social anxiety. He unintentionally gets caught up in a lie after the family of a classmate who died by suicide mistakes one of Hansen’s letters for their son’s suicide note.â€
Stephen Chbosky is directing the movie, with a script by Steven Levenson, who also wrote the book for the stage musical. The musical’s songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, along with Steven also serve as executive producers, as well as Ben‘s dad Marc Platt.
The performance was introduced by original singer of the track, Bono, who shared a message in support of Black Lives Matter, along with a little history of the song and how it relates to today.
