Laura Marano, Meg Donnelly, Calum Worthy Lend Their Voices To Animated Vaccine Series

Disney stars Laura Marano, Meg Donnelly and Calum Worthy are among the voice cast for the new series Pandemica!

The Austin & Ally and Zombies stars are lending their voices to the animated series from the ONE Campaign, THR reveals.

Pandemica “aims to raise awareness of the importance of vaccines in ending the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Pandemica‘s animated world animates a simple truth — that where you live shouldn’t determine whether you get these life-saving shots,” Bono, co-founder of ONE and (RED), said in a statement. “Even while many of us still wait our turn, we need to commit to making sure that billions of people around the world aren’t left at the back of the line. It’s the right thing to do, obviously, but it’s also the only way out of this pandemic for all of us. If the vaccine isn’t everywhere, this pandemic isn’t going anywhere.”

“My strangest and yet most important role of 2021!! If the vaccine isn’t everywhere, this pandemic isn’t going anywhere. Join @ONECampaign and our fight to end #COVID19. Visit https://go.one.org/3l8i7CU #Pandemica,” Laura shared on Twitter.

“I’m very honored to be in @ONECampaign’s animated series about the importance of making COVID 19 vaccines available to everyone, everywhere – regardless of where you live Because, unfortunately, this virus thrives on inequality Oh and my good friend @lauramarano is also in it!!” Calum wrote.

Also lending their voices to the series include Patrick Adams, Samuel Arnold, Bono, Connie Britton, Penélope Cruz, Danai Gurira, Nick Kroll, Kumail Nanjiani, David Oyelowo, Phoebe Robinson, Michael Sheen and Wanda Sykes.

You can catch the episodes of Pandemica on the ONE Campaign’s social channels.

'Austin & Ally' Cast Have Zoom Reunion!!

OMG! The Austin & Ally cast reunited this week!

Ross Lynch, Calum Worthy, Laura Marano, and Raini Rodriguez got together virtually for a new interview and to reminisce, moderated by E! Correspondent Lilliana Vasquez.

During the chat, the cast dished on the first time they met, remembering their auditions, fan interactions and more five years after the show wrapped.

“I think of the auditioning process first and foremost and those first table reads we did of the pilot and all that stuff,” Ross said about auditioning. “I remember getting a call from [Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert], who were the creators of the show, and they were like, ‘Hey man, you got the job. How are you feeling?’ I remember I just kept saying, ‘I’m so pumped!’ They kept asking, they’d be like, ‘Yeah, what else, man?’ and I’d be like, ‘I’m pumped!’ That’s all I had to say. But, yeah, good times, good times. That was the first table read I ever did, was Austin & Ally.”

Ross, I’m not sure how you didn’t know you got it, because at the end of the process there was one person for Austin, Ross, there was one person for Trish, Raini, and there were two girls for Ally. So, I actually had no idea if I got it or not,” Laura added.

Calum Worthy Reveals All He Did To Get Into the Mindset of 'The Act's Nick Godejohn

Calum Worthy hangs off a window ledge in this shot from his new cover story with Grumpy magazine.

The 28-year-old actor is opening up about The Act, remembering the good days on Austin & Ally, climate change and more. Check it:

On his experience on Austin & Ally: “It was my first time doing comedy in that way. I also had an incredible time creating a family with everybody on that set. We are all still best friends and I think that’s a very special and unusual thing for a show!”

On his groundwork to embrace the mind of Nick Godejohn on The Act: “I knew that he suffered from disturbing thoughts, so at night I would play disturbing videos and then go to bed to fall asleep. I also put a picture of Dee Dee’s crime body on my phone at night, because I knew that he was haunted by these images of her body.”

On being a climate change activist: “When I was in high school, I realized that this was going to be my generation’s challenge, and that it was the crisis that will determine the future of our children and grandchildren.”

On being a ‘contender’ at the Emmys: “I would never have thought that I actually would be a contender for something like this. It means a lot! I’ve seen all these other projects and I’m actually rooting for all of them!”
