It’s National Best Friend Day TODAY (June 8) in the US!

To celebrate, we thought we would take a look at some of the celebrity BFFs.

From Joey King and Sabrina Carpenter, to KJ Apa and Charles Melton, and so many more, celebs and their besties always know how to make each other, and fans, smile.

Some have even taken to Instagram to celebrate the day.

“Wishing we were doing this 💛 @aishtray @meghannfahy,” Katie Stevens captioned a pic of her on and off screen BFFs Meghann Fahy and Aisha Dee.

KJ Apa and his Riverdale buddies are having fun in quarantine together!

The 22-year-old actor shared some videos on his Instagram story with Drew Ray Tanner and Charles Melton, as well as Alex Fine.

A shirtless KJ challenged Drew to a handstand push-up challenge, where he was shocked at how many Drew could do.

Drew came out the winner after doing six, while KJ could barely do one before losing his balance.

KJ then shared a photo of Charles sitting on a couch outside while writing in a book. See all the screenshots in the gallery!

In case you missed it, Drew recently formed a new band with another Riverdale co-star, Vanessa Morgan. The two formed These Girls These Boys and just released their first song together!

Speaking of music, KJ has been teasing something new coming with Hart Denton. “something hot cooking!” he posted a photo of the two, adding on another, “intro/outro”

The next Riverdale musical episode is coming this week!

In new stills from the upcoming episode titled “Chapter Seventy-Four: Wicked Little Town”, we get a glimpse of Casey Cott, Charles Melton, Drew Ray Tanner, Jordan Connor, Madelaine Petsch, and Vanessa Morgan dressed up in drag as Hedwig from Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

After the previous debacles of “Carrie: The Musical” and “Heathers: The Musical,” Kevin decides to revive Riverdale High’s tradition of hosting a variety show.

But when Mr. Honey (Kerr Smith) forbids him from performing a number from “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” Kevin and the gang rally against their principal — each by performing a number from “Hedwig,” turning the variety show into a full-fledged musical that reflects the students’ inner lives and struggles.

And amidst all the drama, one forbidden “showmance” begins to blossom.

KJ Apa had the support of his Riverdale friends at the premiere of his new movie!

The 22-year-old actor got a lift from Charles Melton on the red carpet at the I Still Believe premiere on Saturday evening (March 7) at the ArcLight Hollywood in Hollywood, Calif.

Fellow Riverdale cast member Casey Cott also supported KJ.

Also in attendance were KJ‘s movie co-stars Britt Robertson, Shania Twain, Melissa Roxburgh, and Gary Sinise.

KJ stars as Christian music star Jeremy Camp and the flick follows his remarkable journey of love and loss, proving there is always hope in the midst of tragedy and that faith tested is the only faith worth sharing.

I Still Believe will be out in theaters on Friday, March 13 – check out the trailer here!

Charles Melton walks and talks with KJ Apa while out on Sunday (February 23) in Los Angeles.

The two Riverdale co-stars went shirtless for a hike and showed off all their muscle.

That same day, it was announced that two of their Riverdale co-stars would be leaving the show after it’s current season.

The week before, KJ made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where he got scared by a staff member dressed up as his character Archie. Check out the funny moment if you missed it!

Earlier this month, Charles and Casey Cott went to the Super Bowl and met up with another CW star while at a pre-party.

The Riverdale stars met up with another CW star inside the party – The Flash‘s Candice Patton!

“Thank you @itsonatt #atttv Excited to celebrate the Super Bowl and root for my hometown team the Kansas City Chiefs #supersatudaynight #sponsored,” Charles wrote on Instagram later that night.

Charles also met up and snapped a couple of photos with Keegan-Michael Key!

Also in attendance at the pre-Super Bowl bash, which featured a performance by Lady Gaga, was gymnast Aly Raisman.

LOL – Casey Cott snuck a photo of Charles Melton sleeping on their flight!

The Riverdale co-stars were on their way to the 2020 Super Bowl.

“Super Bowl Bound!!!” Casey captioned the Instagram photo below on Saturday (February 1).

“I’m to excited to sleep and Charles is ptfo behind me,” Casey added. “See you soon!!! @buffalobills @kimpegula.”

The selfie shows Casey in his Buffalo Bills cap while Charles is sleeping with his mouth slightly open.

“Lol see y’all tonight!” actress Vanessa Hudgens commented, to which Casey Cott replied, “Can’t wait.”
