The 19-year-old singer and actress took part in the “8 Bit Melody Challenge” with Seventeen, and when Christina‘s “Genie In A Bottle” was one of the tunes, she opened up about how she learned to sing through it.
“Honestly, Christina taught me how to sing. I would just like copy everything she did in that song, every riff, every inflection,” Isabela said. “Everything that she did, all the vibrato too, I matched it perfectly, and I would work at that. I was like six when I started doing that and that basically, I think, was the reason I sing.”
Christina Aguilera is back with an original song for the live action Mulan soundtrack – “Loyal Brave True“!
The new track comes 22 years after she released “Reflection” from the original animated version.
“The film Mulan and the song ‘Reflection’ coincided with getting me my first record deal,” Christina said of the new song. “It’s amazing to come back to such an incredible movie that’s full of power and meaning, and that meaning holds the test of time: staying true to yourself, being who you are, and teaching how to be fearless. My new song, ‘Loyal Brave True,’ represents the fine balance between vulnerability and strength.â€
In addition to “Loyal Brave True”, Christina will also release a new version of “Reflection”. Both songs will be available on the film’s soundtrack, out March 25th, just two days before the movie hits theaters.

The song is the latest release from Christina‘s upcoming album Liberation, which will be released on June 15 and is available now for pre-order. The song follows the release of Christina‘s “Accelerate” with Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz.
