Shahadi Wright Joseph Finally Meets Beyonce at 'The Lion King' Premiere

It happened – Shahadi Wright Joseph met Beyonce!!!

The 14-year-old actress’ main goal while attending The Lion King premiere was to meet Queen Bey.

“Soooooo….this happened. I’m looking cool on the outside but INSIDE…👀🙀🤯😁😁😁😄🤩🤩🤩,” she captioned a photo on Instagram.

Earlier in the day, Shahadi made an appearance on Daily Pop and revealed that she had never met, or even spoke to Beyonce.

Shahadi voices the younger version of Nala in the new film, while Beyonce voices the adult Nala.

Shahadi also met some of her other co-stars, Donald Glover and Florence Kasumba, and got to see JD McCrary.

JD McCrary and Shahadi Wright Joseph, who star as Young Simba and Nala, sit in the middle of the group photo, alongside Donald Glover (Simba); Beyoncé Knowles-Carter (Nala); John Oliver, Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner (Zazu, Pumbaa and Timon); and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Scar).

Alfre Woodard (Sarabi) and Eric André, Florence Kasumba and Keegan-Michael Key (hyenas Azizi, Shenzi and Kamari) also sit in the image.

The Lion King, with a run time of 118 minutes, will roar into theaters on July 19th.

Disney’s The Lion King live-action movie now has a new teaser and poster!

The studio dropped the clip, called “Long Live the King,” on Sunday (February 24) during the 2019 Oscars.

Director Jon Favreau’s all-new The Lion King journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir to the throne—has plans of his own.

The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his.

The all-star cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyonce as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, and Billy Eichner as Timon.

Utilizing pioneering filmmaking techniques to bring treasured characters to life in a whole new way, Disney’s The Lion King roars into theaters on July 19, 2019.

'The Lion King' Comes to Life in Teaser Trailer for 2019 Remake!

We’ve been so ready for this moment ever since Disney announced that The Lion King was being remade into a live-action movie!!!

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming movie has been released as a Thanksgiving treat to fans.

James Earl Jones is reprising his role as the voice of Mufasa and his voice is heard in the trailer in the famous speech to Simba: “Everything the light touches is our kingdom. But, a king’s time as ruler rises and falls like the sun. One day, the sun will set on my time here, and will rise with you as the new king.”

The movie also features the voices of Donald Glover as Simba, Beyonce Knowles-Carter as Nala, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, John Oliver as Zazu, and Keegan-Michael Key as Kamari.

The Lion King will hit theaters on July 19, 2019.

Lion King's Young Simba JD McCrary Joins Childish Gambino For Performance at Grammys 2018

JD McCrary belts out a song on stage at the 2018 Grammy Awards held at Madison Square Garden on Sunday (January 28) in New York City.

The young entertainer hit the stage with his live-action Lion King costar Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, for a duel performance of “Terrified.”

If you don’t know, Donald will be playing the adult version of Simba in the upcoming movie.

Childish Gambino is up for a few awards tonight at the Grammys, including record of the year for “Redbone” and album of the year for Awaken, My Love!

Zendaya Makes Fun of Tom Holland in First 'Spider-Man' Trailer - Watch Now!

We get our first glimpse of Zendaya‘s character in Spider-Man: Homecoming in the movie’s first official trailer and she’s using her comedic skills to make fun of Peter Parker (Tom Holland).

While it was rumored that Z was going to be the love interest in the movie, it seems like Laura Harrier, who plays Liz Allan, is going to be the object of Peter’s affection in the film.

Another character that we’re introduced to in the film is Ned Leeds, Peter’s best friend played by Jacob Batalon.

Also starring in the upcoming Marvel movie, due out in theaters on July 7, are Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Michael Keaton as the villain (possibly The Vulture), and Donald Glover.

Simone Biles, Aly Raisman & Final Five Play Life-Size Hungry Hungry Hippos Game!

The Final Five looks excited to be standing on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon stage during an appearance on Tuesday (August 23) in New York City.

The ladies – Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez, Aly Raisman, Simone Biles, and Madison Kocian – played a game of “Hungry Hungry Humans,” a life-size version of the fun game Hungry Hungry Hippos.

Donald Glover joined the ladies for the fun and ultimately, Aly and Laurie were the champions!

“I AM SO EXCITED. @jimmyfallon thank you so much for having the #finalfive on :)” Aly wrote on Instagram while backstage.
