Thomas Doherty Says 'Descendants 3' Character Is Very Crazy & Unpredictable

We have almost reached the end of the “Road To Auradon”!

In the new installment of the behind the scenes series, we get a look at the pirates – Thomas Doherty (Harry Hook) and Dylan Playfair (Gil) – as well as China Anne McClain‘s Uma and new villain, Hades, played by Cheyenne Jackson.

“He is just a crazy guy. He’s just a bit mad, very unpredictable, he’s very confident, he’s quite charming, but he’s also a bit scary,” Thomas says in the clip.

“It’s so much fun to be working with a new character. I LOVE Cheyenne Jackson. He’s obviously a huge Broadway veteran, and he is unbelievably talented,” Dove adds about their new co-star.

“He has lived a big life and had a lot of amazing things happen to him and now he’s kind of relegated to this cave, and to this small little life,” Cheyenne said of Hades. “It’s fun to play make believe on these big giant sets and these great costumes and hair. It’s going to be good.”

Descendants 3 premieres TOMORROW at 8pm ET/PT on Disney Channel!

'Descendants' Star Dylan Playfair Remembers Cameron Boyce

Dylan Playfair is sharing a touching message after the tragic passing of his Descendants co-star Cameron Boyce.

The 27-year-old actor took to his Instagram to remember Cameron and had the nicest things to say.

“There’s one more star in heaven… it doesn’t make sense and words are hard to come by during times like these. A few small things I think the world should know. Cams inspiring energy and incredible talent allowed for him to accomplished more in his 20 years on Earth than many people do in a lifetime,” Dylan wrote.

He continued, “A performer, mentor, philanthropist, friend, brother, son. This kid always had a smile on his face. One of the kindest humans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and the privilege of working with. He approached life with humor, joy, passion and astonishing talent. He was a mentor, spending hours and hours working with goof balls like me to make sure I knew what I was doing filming the dance and sword fight numbers in D2 and D3, and a friend. He raised thousands for clean water non profits in Africa and always had time for fans. Cameron loved his family and spoke ill of no one. It’s tragic saying goodbye to a friend who had so much ahead of him… Rest easy brother. We love you and we miss you ❤️”

The rest of the Descendants cast have yet to speak out but our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.

Cameron died on Saturday morning (July 6) after suffering a seizure due to an ongoing condition. You can read his family’s statement for more details on the devastating loss.
