Ed Sheeran dropped his new song “I Don’t Care” with Justin Bieber earlier this year, but the collaboration wasn’t his idea!

The 28-year-old musician musician just revealed that his wife Cherry made the suggestion.

“Bieber just got married. I just got married. That song is about the person you love, and kind of just being like ‘F**k this, let’s just have fun ourselves.’ It was actually Cherry‘s idea, because she was like, ‘Oh, why don’t you get Bieber? He’d be perfect for this, he just fits it,’” Ed told iHeartRadio’s Charlamagne tha God.

He continued, “I have quite a good relationship with him. I met him at [New York City's] Z100. He came up and said, ‘Oh I’m a big fan,’ and I was like, ‘Wow, have you heard my music?’ So we kept in touch. I wrote some songs for him and with for his projects. We’ve just hung out a bunch of times. I wanna work with Bieber. He’s just got one of these voices that works on anything, and he’s got personality when he sings.”

Ed Sheeran and Travis Scott have dropped their quirky new music video for “Antisocial!”

The “Perfect” crooner and the “Goosebumps” rapper shared the video with fans on Friday (July 12).

Directed by Dave Meyers, it features lots of different sets, costume changes, and wigs.

The video pays tribute to various classic films, including possible references to Edward Scissorhands, The Mask, The Birds, The Martian, and Pulp Fiction.

Ed Sheeran is opening up about the decision to ask Camila Cabello to be on his new song “South of the Border.”

The 28-year-old musician revealed what brought it about to have the 22-year-old singer in a new interview with iHeartRadio’s Charlamagne tha God.

“I met Camila in 2013 at the VMAs when she was in Fifth Harmony. We’ve kind of always kept in touch, and she’s very, very, very sweet, very, very nice. [The song] has a Latin flavor, you could say that. [Camila] is from Cuba, she speaks fluent Spanish, and Cardi‘s Dominican, and I just felt like it was a good mix.”

He also dished on having Cardi B on the record as well. “I’ve always wanted to make a song with Cardi B. Cardi B, just personality wise, even if you had her talking on a song. I love her, Cherry‘s obsessed with her. I’ve got to meet her a few times; she’s very animated, very lovely, so I’ve always wanted her on a record,” he said.

“I love how unfiltered she is. Literally. She’s so media trained not to be media trained, like, her whole schtick is she goes on and says whatever she wants, and that is what works for her, whereas I never had a media training either, and I feel like I get to just say what I want. And she’s successful because she is who she is. There’s no one else that can be Cardi B — and there’s gonna be countless people now that try to be.”

Camila Cabello is opening up about the surreal moment of working on a song with Ed Sheeran!

The 22-year-old singer shared a behind-the-scenes video from the studio session with Ed where they were writing her verse for “South of the Border”.

“this is probably one of the most surreal things I’ve ever seen, Ed’s team sent me this from our session in Nashville when we were writing my verse for south of the border, I just saw it in the car and had this weird surreal feeling of being 13 years old listening to ‘be like you’ and ‘autumn leaves’ and ‘fall’- this guy right here is one of the most meaningful artists in my life and 13 year old me would never believe this video,” Camila wrote on Instagram.

“I know we’re friends now so sorry for the not playing cool moment, but genuinely, this is a sick full circle, special moment for me, being on a song with an artist that’s meant so f–king much to me. I have so many memories with these man’s songs. And he’s such a lovely person!!! I’m just emotional. 😭 life is wild. Dreams are wild. I’m so in awe of how things happen and how things you could never imagine can happen. and it’s only more of a pleasure getting to know you as a person- so kind, genuine, and awesome. I’m about to JAM this album right now cause I haven’t heard the other songs and I’m so excited!!!! Congrats on more amazing music!!! , Love you dude @teddysphotos,” she added.

Ed Sheeran confirmed what everyone suspected months ago – he married Cherry Seaborn!

News originally broke that the couple got married back in December, but neither Ed nor his new wife confirmed the news.

Now, Ed has finally confirmed that he got married in a video interview with Charlamagne The God after the release of his No.6 Collaborations Project.

Ed was asked about the lyric, “Watch how the lyrics in the songs might get twisted / My wife wears red, but looks better without the lipstick,” from “Remember the Name” featuring Eminem and 50 Cent.

Ed said about the lyric, “It was actually before me and Cherry got married and I knew that we’d be married by the point that the song came out. [I thought] Someone’s gonna hear that and be like, ‘Oh, they’re married!’ I didn’t know how that would be construed, but obviously it’s already come out.”

Ed Sheeran is just giving us all the good music lately and it didn’t stop with his new video for “Blow”.

Teaming up with Chris Stapleton and Bruno Mars, the three just dropped the official music video for their rock collaboration – and are no where to be seen in the visual.

Instead, you’ll watch three amazing women play the part of a rock band and rule the stage.

The video was actually directed by Bruno, and shot at The Viper Room in Los Angeles.
