Emma Berman is starring in the brand new Disney and Pixar movie Luca!
The 12-year-old’s role as the voice of Giulia Marcovaldo is actually her feature film debut.
Emma stars alongside Jacob Tremblay and Jack Dylan Grazer in the animated film, which just premiered on Disney+ TODAY (June 18).
Disney and Pixar‘s latest animated feature Luca is finally here!
The new film just premiered on Disney+ on Friday (June 18), and is “a fun and heartwarming story about friendship, stepping out of your comfort zone and two teenage sea monsters who experience a life-changing summer.”
Emma Berman shows off her smile while attending the world premiere of her brand new film Luca held at the El Capitan Theatre on Thursday evening (June 17) in Hollywood.
The newcomer was joined at the event by her co-stars Giacomo Gianniotti and Marco Barricelli, as well as director Enrico Casarosa and producer Andrea Warren.

Luca stars the voices of Jacob Tremblay as Luca Paguro and Jack Dylan Grazer as Alberto Scorfano, as well as Emma Berman as Giulia Marcovaldo, Maya Rudolph as Luca’s mom Daniela, Marco Barricelli as Giulia’s dad Massimo, Jim Gaffigan as Luca’s dad Lorenzo, Saverio Raimondo as town bully Ercole Visconti, Sandy Martin as Luca’s grandma and Giacomo Gianniotti as a local fisherman.
Here’s a synopsis: Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, Disney and Pixar’s original feature film Luca is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world just below the water’s surface.
Luca will debut THIS summer, exclusively on Disney+ on June 18th!

Starring in the title role is Jacob Tremblay as Luca Paguro, a bright and inventive 13-year-old sea monster with endless curiosity—especially when it comes to the mysterious world above the sea.
Also in the cast is Jack Dylan Grazer as Alberto Scorfano, an independent, free-spirited teenage sea monster with unbridled enthusiasm for the human world, and Emma Berman voices Giulia, an outgoing and charming adventurer who befriends Luca and Alberto.
