Gigi Hadid is opening up about giving birth to her daughter Khai!
The 25-year-old shared some new details about her labor and birth in the new March 2021 issue of Vogue.
“I know my mom and Zayn and Bella were proud of me, but at certain points I saw each of them in terror,” Gigi shared. “Afterward, Z and I looked at each other and were like, We can have some time before we do that again.â€
Gigi also admitted that she had some second thoughts on doing a natural birth and going through that pain.
“There definitely was a point where I was like, I wonder what it would be like with an epidural, how it would be different,” she said. “My midwife looked at me and was like, ‘You’re doing it. No one can help you. You’re past the point of the epidural anyway, so you’d be pushing exactly the same way in a hospital bed.’â€
“I had to dig deep,” Gigi said about the pain. “I knew it was going to be the craziest pain in my life, but you have to surrender to it and be like, ‘This is what it is.’ I loved that.â€
The name of Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik‘s daughter has been revealed!
The 25-year-ol model didn’t officially announce her daughter’s name, but did subtly change her Instagram bio to add in that she is “Khai’s mom” – meaning she and the 28-year-old singer named their daughter Khai!

Khai‘s name could be a nod to her dad Mohamed Hadid‘s mom, whose name is Khairiah.
Khai‘s name reveal comes on her four month birthday, after Gigi and Zayn welcomed her back on September 21.
In honor of the milestone, Gigi shared a cute photo on her Instagram Story giving Khai a kiss on the cheek.
“my girl. 4 months & THE BEST KID,” Gigi wrote along with the photo.
As of right now, Gigi and Zayn have not shared a photo of their daughter’s face.
A few days earlier, Gigi revealed the exact date that she found out she was pregnant.

Gigi Hadid shows off support for Zayn Malik as she visits the album promo truck for his new album in New York City on Friday afternoon (January 15).
The 25-year-old model kept it casual in her tweed blazer, jeans and a Masqd face mask as she snapped a few pictures of the site, which was in support of Zayn‘s new album, Nobody is Listening, which dropped today.
During the outing, Gigi posed next to the truck for a few pictures before she went inside the truck, which was an immersive, black light experience of the album.
She shared her experience inside with fans on her Instagram Stories, and even revealed which song on the album is her favorite. See it below!

The night before, Gigi took to Instagram to share a sweet message in honor of boyfriend Zayn Malik‘s 28th birthday.
“Team No Sleep ! Happiest birthday to our Zaddy baba. So special. Love you long time, thank you for makin me a mamma to the best girl ever â˜ºï¸ Wish you the best every single day,” Gigi wrote, which you can see here.

Christmas was extra special this year for Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik because it was their first time celebrating the holiday with their newborn baby girl!
We still don’t know the name of Gigi and Zayn‘s baby, but we’re continuing to get some new photos of the little one.
Gigi shared one photo of Zayn holding their newborn daughter and another one of her laying on a mat. She noted that her daughter is wearing a Gucci onesie that was gifted to her by Devon Windsor and little booties that were gifted by her friend Olivia Perez.
Gigi and Zayn celebrated the holiday with her sister Bella Hadid, her brother Anwar Hadid and his girlfriend Dua Lipa, and her parents Yolanda and Mohamed.

Gigi Hadid has shared a bunch of photos from inside her daughter’s nursery and it looks like such a great room!
The 25-year-old model also showed off a photo that she snapped in the nursery on the night before going into labor. The photos were all posted to her Instagram Stories on Monday night (December 7).
Gigi snapped a selfie in a mirror in her daughter’s nursery and she captioned the pic, “the night before I went into labor.”
In another photo snapped in the nursery, Gigi mentioned it was taken about a week before she gave birth. She added, “Decorating & spending time in her nursery really helped me feel prepared when I would get too in my head.”
Gigi showed off the book shelf in the nursery and said, “so many friends sent their favorite books.” Such a cool gift idea!
