iCarly was announced to be returning for a revival series on Paramount+ in 2021.

However, fans were disappointed that only Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor were attached to the project, and that there was no Jennette McCurdy as Sam, or Noah Munck as Gibby.

After the news was announced, one of the producers of the reboot, Jay Kogen, responded to tweets from fans inquiring about the actors’ involvement in the show.

On Jennette returning, he said, “It’s her call,” and as for Noah, he shared that “We’ve approached him.”

Jay also dished that the new iCarly will be geared more to adults than kids, and that it will be a “Multi cam with some single cam elements” series.

Nathan Kress Reacts To First & Last 'iCarly' Scenes

Nathan Kress is reacting to some moments from iCarly!

The 26-year-old actor filmed a segment of Nickelodeon’s “NickRewind” and looked back on his time on the hit show, and revealed some tidbits that you may have never known before.

“Oh, it makes me physically uncomfortable,” he says while watching his audition.

Nathan even dished about the first scene he filmed.

“I remember when we first shot that scene, it was the first scene that I rehearsed, and I don’t know if it was a combination of the fact that it was just really cold on set or that I was really nervous,” he said. “I was shaking, quaking, during the entire rehearsal. I was holding up the bottle and all of my hands were just going absolutely insane. I think a lot of Freddie energy was just me that I couldn’t even contain and it just became evident on screen.”

Nathan also shared his real thoughts on spaghetti tacos, his favorite webcast segments, and if he thinks Freddie should’ve ended up with Carly or Sam.

Nathan Kress Reveals Who He Thinks Freddie Should've Ended Up With on 'iCarly'

Nathan Kress has been at the center of “The Great iCarly Debate” for close to 10 years — and it doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon.

That can be a blessing and a curse all at the same time, so Nathan opened up to Seventeen.com about who he really feels that Freddie should’ve ended up with — NO ONE!

“I get that there’s merit to both sides, but if this was actual real life and not a sitcom, I really don’t think that Freddie should end up with either one of those girls,” Nathan shared.

He adds, “There’s a lot of reasons why neither relationship actually makes sense. Just knowing what I know about real-life relationships and what’s important, I don’t really see many of those things in either one of those relationships.”

Nathan even has a solution to get Freddie out of the triangle once and for all: “If Nathan and Freddie sat down and had lunch, and he was talking to me about these girls that he just couldn’t decide between and there were so many great things about both of them, knowing what I know, I would probably recommend he move to another country that’s not Italy.”

“Just start over and find a girl that is actually into him without having to push himself in front of a taco truck, and also one that does not constantly verbally and physically abuse him.”
