The 31-year-old musician won the Album of The Year for her quarantine album folklore.

In her acceptance speech, Taylor gave a special shout out to her boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

“Joe, who is the first person that I play every single song that I write, and i had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine,” she said.

She also shouted out Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, as well as their children.

“I’d like to thank James, Inez, and Betty, who’s parents are the 2nd and 3rd people I play every song I write for,” Taylor said.

Taylor Swift Addresses 'Woodvale' Rumors & Joe Alwyn's Pseudonym During 'Kimmel' Interview

Taylor Swift responded to a bunch of rumors while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night (December 14).

The 31-year-old singer was asked about the theories that she has a new album called Woodvale on the way and she also was asked about her boyfriend Joe Alwyn‘s songwriting pseudonym William Bowery.

“Your boyfriend wrote some of the lyrics to some of the songs under a pseudonym, William Bowery. Who chose that name?” Jimmy asked.

Taylor replied, “He did.”

When asked for the inspiration behind the name, Taylor said, “You gotta ask him because it’s really more of his story than mine.” Jimmy then told her to turn the camera around and let him talk, which led her to let out a big laugh.

Taylor Swift Confirms Joe Alwyn Is William Bowery on 'Folklore' Album!

Taylor Swift says the suspicions are true – Joe Alwyn IS William Bowery!

The 30-year-old confirmed his alias in her folklore: the long pond studio sessions film on Disney+.

“There’s been a lot of discussion about William Bowery and his identity ’cause it’s not a real person,” she explained. “So, William Bowery is Joe, as we know. And Joe plays piano beautifully, and he’s just always playing and making things up and kind of creating things.”

“’Exile’ was crazy because Joe had written that entire piano part and was singing the Bon Iver part,” Taylor continued. “He was just singing it, the way that the whole first verse is. So I was entranced and asked if we could keep writing that one. It was pretty obvious that it should be a duet because he’s got such a low voice and it sounded really good sung down there in that register.”

Taylor also dished on Joe‘s contributions to the song “Betty.”

“I just heard Joe singing the entire fully formed chorus of ‘Betty’ from another room and it was just like, ‘Hello’. It was a step that we would have never taken because why would we have ever written a song together?” she said.

“So this was the first time we had a conversation where I came in and was like ‘Hey, this could be really weird and we could hate this, so because we’re in quarantine and there’s nothing else going on, could we just try and see what it’s like if we write this song together?’”
