Kyle Allen is set to star opposite Joey King in the new film The In Between!

The 26-year-old actor was just announced as the male lead for the supernatural romance movie, via Variety.

The In Between follows a teenage girl (King), who “after surviving a car accident that took the life of her boyfriend, believes he’s attempting to reconnect with her from the after world.”

You may recognize Kyle from his roles on The Path and American Horror Story, as well as the recent movie All My Life, which stars Harry Shum Jr. He’ll also be seen in the new West Side Story movie coming in 2021.

Joey will also serve as a producer and Arie Posin will direct the film, which has been in the works for a couple of years now. The last update was back in August of 2018.

Joey King just revealed some super exciting news!

The 21-year-old actress won the 2020 People’s Choice Award for Comedy Movie Star of 2020 and The Kissing Booth 2 won Comedy Movie of 2020!

During her acceptance speech, Joey revealed the release date for The Kissing Booth 3.

“I’m so excited, this is so exciting! Oh my god!” Joey said. “When I got nominated, I never thought that I would win because I’m nominated against such incredible people, but I did, so, HA! No, I’m just kidding.”

“I really want to thank all the people that voted, you guys. It’s so awesome that you guys voted for me,” she continued. “This year has been so weird, I’m not going to be the first person to say that tonight on this stage, but the fact that our movie and my character brought some laughter to everybody at home, that makes me smile. That makes me feel so good. That makes me feel so happy.”

“I want to thank our director, Vince Marcello, I want to thank Netflix, and also…” Joey said. “I told myself that if I won, I would share a very exciting piece of news with everybody, so… I want to tell you that Kissing Booth 3, our final installment, is going to be released in summer 2021! I am so excited, I wish it was tomorrow! I really, really wish it was tomorrow! Thank you guys so much! Thank you for loving this movie, and loving this character as much as I do, it means so much, so thank you!”

Netflix has released their streaming numbers from the past few months!

The streaming platform revealed that The Kissing Booth 2 had 66 million viewers in it’s first four weeks.

Star Joey King shared the exciting news on her Instagram story, writing, “Well that’s pretty cool.”

Taylor Zakhar Perez echoed her statement with “So. Freaking. COOL!,” and added a couple videos to say thank you and ask for fans to vote for the movie at the 2020 People’s Choice Awards. Voting ends THIS Friday (October 23) and you can CLICK HERE to vote!

Joel Courtney also chimed in by sharing the news and adding a few of the shocked face and mind blowing emojis.

Netflix also shared that Millie Bobby Brown‘s Enola Holmes brought in a whopping 76 million viewers in it’s first four weeks!

Joey King is dropping hints about the upcoming third The Kissing Booth movie!

The 21-year-old actress recently teased that the final film is more fun than TKB2.

“I want to share literally everything with you, but I can’t share too much!” Joey told Digital Spy. “The Kissing Booth 3 is… I mean, listen, we meet Elle with quite the dilemma at the end of The Kissing Booth 2. With The Kissing Booth 3, we pick back up with that dilemma, and it presents some pretty serious challenges throughout the third movie.”

“All the while, though, even though Elle is going through some very tough decisions, we are going to have even more fun with these characters than we did in the second one,” she added.

“I cannot wait,” Joey continued. “It was so much fun to film, and I love getting to see things that were a great time in the moment pay off on camera, and for it to feel as much fun to watch.”

Addison Rae is celebrating her exciting nomination!

The 19-year-old TikTok star is up for the Social Star of 2020 award at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards.

Addison took to social media to share her surprise and excitement!

“WHAT IS MY LIFE!!! soooo blessed and thankful to be nominated for social celebrity! thank you all for making all of my wildest dreams come true!!! 🤎🪐✨” she wrote on Twitter.

“i’m so blessed to be nominated for a people’s choice award! this is more than i could’ve ever dreamed of! thank you to everyone who is so supportive of me😭❤️,” Addison added on her Instagram story.

Joey King also reacted to her nominations, which are for Comedy Movie Star of 2020, and The Kissing Booth 2 is up for Comedy Movie of 2020.

“Well holy guacamole!!!! Im nominated for a @peopleschoice award!!!!!!!!!!!! What a way to wake up! It feels like Christmas,” she wrote on Instagram story in all caps.

“And so is @thekissingboothnetflix!!!!! WOW … This is a very good day. Going to top up my bowl of cereal now to celebrate,” Joey added.

Joey King steps out for a day of press for her new movie The Lie on Wednesday (September 30) in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old Emmy-nominated actress looked pretty in a teal and blue outfit paired with white shoes as she stepped out to promote her new movie.

Here is the synopsis for The Lie: When their teenaged daughter (King) confesses to impulsively killing her best friend, two desperate parents (Mireille Enos and Peter Sarsgaard) attempt to cover up the horrific crime, leading them into a complicated web of lies and deception.

If you missed it, Joey is turning this book into a Netflix movie.

Joey King will be starring in another Netflix movie!

The 21-year-old The Kissing Booth star is teaming up with director McG to adapt Scott Westerfeld’s popular dystopian fantasy novel “Uglies,” Deadline reports.

Joey will not only star in the film, but she will also serve as executive producer.

If you didn’t know, Uglies “is set in a world in which a compulsory operation at sixteen wipes out physical differences and makes everyone pretty by conforming to an ideal standard of beauty.”

Joey is no stranger to bringing books to screen, as The Kissing Booth movies are based off of a book series. She will also be adapting Jodi Picoult‘s novel “A Spark of Light” into a limited TV series.

Next week, Joey‘s new Blumhouse horror film The Lie will premiere on Prime Video. Check out the trailer here!
