'13 Reasons Why' Cast Wraps Filming With Touching Goodbyes

The cast of 13 Reasons Why is saying farewell.

The stars recently wrapped filming on the fourth and final season and took to social media to share their sentiments with fans.

Justin Prentice (Bryce Walker) and Brandon Flynn (Justin Foley) posted some photos with their co-stars (see their posts here and here), and Devin Druid showed off Tyler Down’s camera equipment.

Christian Navarro (Tony Padilla) wrote, “Playing this character has made me a better man. It’s allowed me the great honor of representing people who may feel unheard, unwanted, and unloved. You are heard. You are wanted. You are loved. Whoever you are, whatever your story, your integrity will guide you through the darkest nights. Be kind, and be brave.” He also parted ways with Tony’s car.

See Ross Butler‘s (Zach Dempsey) goodbye tribute here.

Justin Prentice Opens Up About Bryce's Death & His Apologies on '13 Reasons Why'

13 Reasons Why tried to show us a different side of Bryce Walker in the new season.

If you watched, the character, played by Justin Prentice, tries to make amends for his actions, but he ends up defaulting back to his hateful ways.

“Obviously he was – with reaching out to Jess – he was met with walls, rightfully so, and did not know where to go,” Justin shared with ET in a new interview. “I don’t think his response nullifies what he had learned up until that point, emotionally, how much he had grown, I just think that Bryce is pushed to default back on his own behavior in certain circumstances and you see that with different characters.”

He continues, “Even though he can be loving and empathetic towards one character perhaps, you know, that does not mean that he won’t default back to his years of being the alpha aggressor and provoked. I think this is a moment where he is provoked and he just got his a** handed to him… Yeah, it was really interesting and I thought it was done really well. I think it was an interesting way to end it.”

Justin also revealed that he knew Bryce’s story was coming to an end ahead of filming the third season. But will he be back for the final season?

“I feel like we have told a good bit of Bryce’s story,” Justin says. “I feel like there is a nice bow on his storyline and the audience doesn’t probably want to see much more of it.”

“We’ve seen enough of Bryce. I think we laid it all out there. We got to see the a**hole side of him the first few seasons, and now we get to see the other facet of Bryce — or at least him trying to at least hone another facet,” he adds. “I think he was been pretty well explored and as an actor, I feel relief in moving forward with my life, and put everything out there with the character.”

13 Reasons Why is streaming now on Netflix.

Ross Butler Keeps Mum On Just Who He Plays in 'Shazam'

We don’t have an answer – yet – about just who Ross Butler is playing the upcoming movie, Shazam!

The 28-year-old actor is keeping quiet about the identity of his on-screen persona until the movie hits theaters next week.

“Trust me, I’ve been wanting to tell people,” Ross told Flaunt magazine. “But they’re [the studio] keeping it under wraps. The movie is a new direction for DC. I think a lot of people are going to enjoy that it’s self-deprecating.”

He added that the movie isn’t trying to be “Dark Knight. Not trying to go down this dark, brooding direction. It’s a new tone for DC. That’s what I can say.”

Ross is pictured at the red carpet premiere with good friend and 13 Reasons Why co-star Justin Prentice, as well as longtime couple Jack Griffo and Paris Berelc in Hollywood on Thursday night (March 28).
