Dove Cameron and Kristin Chenoweth reunite for a cute new photo at the premiere of their new series Schmigadoon! held at The Whitby Hotel on Monday (July 12) in New York City.
The two are co-starring in the AppleTV+ limited series, their third musical project together.
They of course previously starred as mother-daughter duos in Descendants and Hairspray Live.
Jahzir Kadeem Bruno is making his debut in the upcoming remake of The Witches.
The young actor stars as the young boy in the film, who you will actually only see for about half of the movie because he gets turned into a mouse!
The Witches is based off of the Roald Dahl novel of the same name, and tells the darkly humorous and heartwarming tale of a young orphaned boy (Bruno) who, in late 1967, goes to live with his loving Grandma (Octavia Spencer) in the rural Alabama town of Demopolis.
As the boy and his grandmother encounter some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly diabolical witches, she wisely whisks our young hero away to an opulent seaside resort. Regrettably, they arrive at precisely the same time that the world’s Grand High Witch (Anne Hathaway) has gathered her fellow cronies from around the globe—undercover—to carry out her nefarious plans.
The two blonde beauties, who have co-starred as mother and daughter in Descendants and Hairspray Live, have both been cast in an upcoming musical TV series, led by Cecily Strong and Keegan-Michael Key, TV Line reports.
The series “follows Melissa and Josh (Strong and Key), a couple who are on a backpacking trip designed to reinvigorate their relationship when they discover a magical town in which everyone acts as if they’re in a musical from the 1940s. The twosome then discover that they can’t leave said town until they find ‘true love.’â€
Kristin will play Mildred, the reverend’s morally superior wife who is in everybody’s business. Reverend Layton will be played by Fred Armisen.
Dove will take on the role of Betsy, the farmer’s daughter who instantly falls for Josh.
Despicable Me franchise writers Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio co-created the series, and Cinco will write all of the original music and serve as showrunner. The Series is also executive produced by SNL boss Lorne Michaels.
Descendants brought us the songs “Rotten to the Core,” “Evil Like Me,” “Did I Mention,” “If Only,” “Be Our Guest,” “Set It Off,” and “Believe.”
Here’s a synopsis: Driven by exciting music and performance, the story is set in the idyllic kingdom of Auradon where Ben, the benevolent teenaged son of the King and Queen (Beast and Belle from Beauty and the Beast), is poised to take the throne. His first proclamation: offer a chance at redemption to Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay, the trouble-making offspring of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella de Vil and Jafar, who have been imprisoned on the forbidden Isle of the Lost for 20 years.
These villainous descendants are allowed into Auradon for the first time to attend prep school alongside the teenage progeny of Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Mulan. Only time will tell if these evil teens follow in the footsteps of their wicked parents!

Hairspray Live aired on NBC on December 7, 2016. It brought in 9.05 million viewers, with a ratings share of 2.3 in the 18–49 demographic, and a 5.9 overnight household rating.
Dove Cameron‘s parents (sort of) came to see her in The Light In The Piazza!
The 23-year-old is starring as Clara in the musical at the LA Opera and on Sunday night (October 20), she had two Descendants co-stars in the audience.
“I’m just processing what i just witnessed. Up until now only tears ….. soon i will have words. #LightInThePiazza @dovecameron @reneeflemingmusic #BrianStokesMitchell and the entire cast and orchestra,” Kristin captioned a photo of the trio.
“Mom & Dad went to go support our baby in #LightinThePiazza at @laopera. She and the production were both breathtaking. #TheFamilyThatCriesTogether,” Cheyenne wrote with another pic.
