The Republic of Sarah is finally premiering on The CW!
The new series stars a lot of familiar faces and we’re taking a look at who plays who in the show.
Here’s a synopsis: The bucolic tranquility of Greylock, New Hampshire is upended when a massive vein of coltan – an incredibly valuable mineral used in tech – is discovered under the town. State-backed mining company Lydon Industries swoops in with plans to extract the mineral … plans that include wiping Greylock off the map.
With her friends and family in danger of losing their homes, rebellious high school teacher Sarah Cooper vows to stop Lydon’s bulldozers. It won’t be easy.

Asher Angel and Landry Bender had a fun day at the lake on Thursday (August 20)!
The 17-year-old “Nobody But You” singer and the 20-year-old Fuller House actress joined their family members for the day out.
“We out on the lake,” Asher captioned a photo of himself on his Instagram.
“Boat day with my favorites!!! 💙,” Landry wrote with photos of her, her mom Amy, Asher‘s siblings London and Avi, and his mom Coco.
Landry also shared a video at the end of her post, of her and Asher dancing, and some fans had mixed feelings at what was going on.
“what. Is. The. Last. Slide,” one person wrote.
“Asher ate that up and left no crumbs,” another fan said.
In case you missed it, earlier this year it was announced that Landry had booked a role in the new series The Republic of Sarah for The CW. The show is set to premiere on the network mid-season in 2021.
Landry Bender could be heading to The CW!
The 19-year-old Fuller House actress has been cast as a series regular in a new pilot called The Republic of Sarah, along with Ian Duff and Forrest Goodluck, Deadline reports.
“This script! These people! So excited â™¥ï¸ #therepublicofsarah @thecw @cbstvstudios @fulwell73productions,” Landry shared on Instagram.
The Republic of Sarah, faced with the destruction of her town at the hands of a greedy mining company, rebellious high school history teacher Sarah Cooper utilizes an obscure cartographical loophole to declare independence. Now Sarah must lead a young group of misfits as they attempt to start their own country from scratch.
Landry will take on the role of Bella (fka Phoebe), who is preppy and composed, the daughter of Greylock’s mayor and one of Sarah’s students. She begins to question her allegiance to her “popular girl†status after an unpleasant sexual encounter with her big-man-on-campus boyfriend and quickly finds herself falling for her shy classmate, Tyler.
Stella Baker is set to lead the series as Sarah Cooper, with Luke Mitchell also starring as her brother Danny.
Bailee Madison and Landry Bender hold on to a giant Marc Jacobs Daisy bottle during a fun event held at the Bryant Park carousel in New York City on Thursday afternoon (November 21).
The two young stars were joined by brand ambassador Kaia Gerber, as well as Nia Sioux, Ava Michelle, Larsen Thompson, Lily Chee and Luna Blaise.

The 19-year-old actress opened up about what inspired her to start her career and her new series Looking For Alaska. Check it:
On why she wanted to be an actress: “One of my first memories was going to see a musical with my mom when I was 4. It was the first time I felt an extreme pull to something, and I couldn’t stop talking about how amazing it was. About a month later, my parents had me audition for a community theatre in Arizona, and here we are.”
On auditioning for Looking For Alaska: “I had been auditioning for our casting director Patrick Rush since I was about 14 or 15 years old. He had me come in to read for two of the other female parts on her show until he finally had me read for Sara a couple of weeks before I left for Louisiana to start filming. She was always the best fit for me, but I guess the character wasn’t supposed to be in every episode, so they were going through rewrites during my audition process. In some cases, I would be thrown off by that process, but Patrick’s become one of my favorite casting directors to read with and always makes me feel so comfortable.”
On her Looking For Alaska character: “I play Sara Bankhead Harbert. She is from the upper class of Alabama. In the first half of the series, she can come across as extremely entitled and elitist, but it stems from her upbringing and the ignorance of the bubble she was raised in.”

Alexa Demie and Kristine Froseth are two rising stars in Hollywood and they are being recognized for their talents!
The ladies were chosen as members of the “Hollywood Rising” 2019 class and they were honored at the Elle x Ferragamo Hollywood Rising Party on Friday (October 11) at Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.
In the Heights actor Anthony Ramos was also chosen and his photos are featured in the gallery. Members of the cast of The Politician rounded out the class.
Alexa was supported at the event by Euphoria co-star Maude Apatow while Kristine was joined by Looking for Alaska co-stars Charlie Plummer, Denny Love, and Landry Bender.
