The trailer for This Is The Year was just released!

The upcoming “feel good movie of the year” was executive produced by Selena Gomez and marks David Henrie‘s directorial debut.

Here’s a synopsis: In a last ditch effort to win over the girl of his dreams, a nerdy high school senior (Lorenzo Henrie) and his best friends embark on a road trip to see their favorite band at the biggest music festival of the year. On their journey, they realize that elaborate plans never go off without a hitch, and that you can find true love in the most unexpected places.

This Is The Year also stars Vanessa Marano, Jake Short, Alyssa Jirrels, Gregg Sulkin, Jeff Garlin, David Henrie, Bug Hall, Kate Katzman, Gregg Christee, Big Joe Henry and Laura Marano.

Former 'Wizards of Waverly Place' Brothers David Henrie & Jake T. Austin Step Out For Indochino Launch Party

David Henrie suits up for the Indochino Red Carpet launch party on Wednesday night (November 6) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 30-year-old actor and director attended the event with best friend Bug Hall, brother Lorenzo Henrie and This Is Us‘s Niles Fitch.

David‘s on-screen brother, Jake T. Austin, was also seen all suited for the event.

News about David‘s new movie, This Is The Year, was just announced and it’s reported that AMBI Distribution will be screening the comedy through the 2019 American Film Market.

If you don’t know, This Is The Year centers on a nerdy high school senior who sets off to a rock concert to win the girl of his dreams.

Gregg Sulkin Sends Massive Thanks to David Henrie & His 'Second Family' on Instagram

Gregg Sulkin is giving us major feels right now, thanks to his latest Instagram.

In the new post, the -year-old British-born actor is sending some major love to David and Lorenzo Henrie, and their parents, Jim and Linda, for accepting him into their family many years ago.

“In 2009 I moved to this country to work on a small show called Wizards of Waverly Place. The success of the show was incredible, and so was your support. However, if it wasn’t for this family, I truly don’t think I would be where I am today,” Gregg wrote, sharing a pic of him with Lorenzo as well as Jim and Linda.

He continued, “@davidhenrie & I became best friends, but then soon found out his younger brother @lorenzohenrie was just a little cooler than he was. His parents, Jim & Linda became my second family in a way, especially since my family lived back in London still.”

“Years later, our bond is more meaningful to me than ever,” Gregg adds. “Thank you Henrie family for taking me in as one of your own, giving me this opportunity in Alabama & for always being there for me in times of need & in some cases, even surgery!”

Gregg is currently filming new movie This Is The Year with Lorenzo and David.

David Henrie is giving us our very first look at the cast for his directorial debut film, This Is The Year!

Sharing the pic over the weekend, the cast united for the first table read for the film, which is set to start filming later this year.

Madison Iseman, Jake Short, Bug Hall, Lorenzo, Pepe Portillo and Sienna Aqualini all star in the movie.

Variety reports that Jake Short, Bug Hall and David‘s younger bro, Lorenzo, will star in the upcoming flick.

Pepe Portillo and Sienna Aqualini have also joined the film, joining lead Madison Iseman.

Lindsey Morgan looks so elegant while arriving for the 2018 Saturn Awards held at The Castaway on Wednesday night (June 27) in Burbank, Calif.

The 100 actress was one of the many presenters throughout the night at the annual ceremony, which honors science fiction, fantasy, and horror on film and in television.

Chandler Riggs picked up the Best Younger TV Actor honor and Anthony Gonzalez was there to rep Coco, which won Best Animated Film.

The Flash‘s Violett Beane, Arrow‘s Echo Kellum, sibling actors Talitha and Gabriel Bateman, Max Charles, Lorenzo Henrie and Riverdale‘s Madchen Amick were also seen at the event.

Candice Patton completely stuns in a slate gray gown at the 2017 Saturn Awards held at The Castaway on Wednesday night (June 28) in Burbank, Calif.

The Flash actress picked up the Best Supporting Actress on Television honor at the show, beating out Kathy Bates (American Horror Story: Roanoke), Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead), Melissa McBride (The Walking Dead), Thandie Newton (Westworld), Adina Porter (American Horror Story: Roanoke), and Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld).

Candice even showed off her award on her Instagram Stories last night.

Lorenzo Henrie was also at the show and nominated for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series. He lost out to Millie Bobby Brown.
