Former NBT Artist Meg Donnelly Reacts to Radio Disney Shutting Down

Meg Donnelly is reacting to the sad news that Radio Disney is going off the air.

The 20-year-old singer and actress, who was the Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing (NBT) artist in 2019, took to Instagram story to share her thoughts.

“I am so so so sadden to hear that Radio Disney will [be] closing it’s operations in 2021. i will be forever grateful to @rdvpgm & the @radiodisney team,” Meg wrote. “you supported me through EVERYTHING, especially helping me get started with my music journey with such amazing opportunities….. jheez. where do i even start???”

“from being honored as a NBT (!!!!!!), to performing at the Radio Disney stages in EPCOT (which was a dream i had since i was a little kid), [Arthur] Ashe Kids Day, performing at @disneyaulani resort in Hawaii,” she continued. “performing at the ARDYS, AND BEing asked to interview Janet Jackson, YES!!! literally Janet Jackson. these experiences as well as so many more… i will never forget.”

“you guys have helped me grow as an musical artist and as the person i wanna be. thank you so much and I wish you all the best for the future and I know our paths will cross again.”

Meg Donnelly & More Disney Channel Stars 'Put the Happy in the Holidays' In New Music Video!

Disney Channel stars are uniting for a new holiday song, “Put the Happy in the Holidays“!

Zombies 2‘s Meg Donnelly, Chandler Kinney and Trevor Tordjman, Raven’s Home‘s Issac Ryan Brown, Navia Robinson and Sky Katz, and Sydney To The Max‘s Ruth Righi all sing and rap in the fun new music video.

“Put the Happy in the Holidays! Hope you sing and dance with us!! @DisneyChannel #zombies2,” Meg shared on Twitter.

ABC Reveals First Look at Giselle Eisenberg In 'American Housewife' With New Poster!

American Housewife is BACK and with a brand new cast member!

Giselle Eisenberg is featured for the first time on the new poster with the rest of the Otto family, including Meg Donnelly, Daniel DiMaggio, Katy Mixon, and Diedrich Bader.

If you recall, Julia Butters, who originated the role of Anna-Kat, decided to leave the show to pursue other opportunities, and Giselle stepped in to take over!

“I’m so excited about this. I’ll do you proud. 😘😘,” Giselle wrote in a comment on the American Housewife‘s Instagram account.

“The answer to all your questions is…. there’s a new Anna Kat in town!” Daniel said in another comment.

The upcoming fifth season of American Housewife premieres on Wednesday October 28th on ABC.

In the premiere episode, “Graduation,” Katie goes to great lengths to appease Principal Ablin (Jerry Lambert) in order to ensure Taylor graduates high school. Meanwhile, Greg finishes ghost writing the final chapter of Lonnie’s (Matt Shively) book.

And while Oliver is devastated to learn Cooper’s (Logan Pepper) family will be moving out of Westport, Anna-Kat tells Franklin (Evan O’Toole) she is ready to venture outside her comfort zone and plans to attend sleep-away camp during summer break.

Meg Donnelly Sings 'More Than a Mystery' In This Music Video Sneak Peek! (Exclusive)

Meg Donnelly goes on a journey through a mysterious dreamscape as she searches for her true identity in the “More Than a Mystery” music video!

The 20-year-old reprises her Zombies character Addison in this exclusive sneak peek at her new video.

“More Than a Mystery” helps kick off the upcoming animated mini series Addison’s Moonstone Mystery.

The story begins at Seabrook High, where zombies, werewolves and humans are all co-existing happily. A new girl at school, Vanna, whom Addison immediately befriends, threatens to shake up the dynamic when they learn that she is not all that she seems.

Addison’s Moonstone Mystery will also feature the voices of Milo Manheim (Zed), Kylee Russell (Eliza), Chandler Kinney (Willa), Pearce Joza (Wyatt) and Ariel Martin (Wynter), as well as two more new songs, “You Do You” and “Feelin’ The Power.”

Meg‘s “More Than a Mystery” music video will premiere TONIGHT (October 16) at 7:54pm ET/PT, along with the premiere of Addison’s Moonstone Mystery, following a Zombies 2 Werewolf Stories event encore, only on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW!

Asher Angel Releases 'Mixtape' Featuring Meg Donnelly Duet 'Livin' It Up' - Listen Now!

Asher Angel just dropped a new body of music – Mixtape!

The 17-year-old musician and actor shared the mini album, which features four personal messages and four songs, including a duet with Meg Donnelly.

“Hey everyone, it’s Asher Angel. I’ve been thinking a lot lately, and I really wanted to do something fun ’cause I know lockdown has been extremely difficult,” he says in the intro. “Luckily we have the gift of music and that really seems to help everything. I went back and was listening to a bunch of my old songs, and I don’t know, I had a fun idea to maybe put out a mixtape of those songs and release it.”

He later then talked about “Livin’ It Up” with Meg!

“This last song I have for you guys is a really special song. It’s called ‘Livin’ It Up.’ I actually had the privilege of working with Meg Donnelly, oh my god, it’s so amazing. This is super exciting,” Asher said in the interlude before the song. “I think the meaning, or the intention behind the song is always live life to the max or the fullest, and be thankful for the people around you.”

Meg Donnelly and Sarah Jeffery are among the young artists featured in this new “I’ll Be There For You” video!

The Disney Channel Original Movie starlets were joined by many more young stars in the video, including fellow Disney stars Siena Agudong and Ruth Righi.

Sarah‘s Charmed co-stars Nick Hargrove and Charlie Gillespie, Nikki Hahn, Savannah May, Owen Joyner, Mousketeer Ky Baldwin, Jeremy Shada, Chevel Shepherd, Darcy Rose Byrnes, Sophie Pecola, Connor Finnerty, Gabe Gibbs, Adrianna Siena, and Mackenzie Sol also took part in the medley of songs.

The video is in support of raising money for homeless shelters in Los Angeles, who has one of the highest rates of homelessness in the nation with a population of over 60,000 homeless people.

Meg Donnelly & Peyton Meyer Head To Prom On 'American Housewife' Season Finale!

Meg Donnelly and Peyton Meyer are getting dressed up to go to prom on American Housewife tonight (May 13)!

The on screen couple look so cute in their black and white outfits for the season finale.

“Yessss!! #AmericanHousewife Prom is tonight! Who is coming?? @AmericanWifeABC @ABCNetwork 9/8c,” Meg wrote on Twitter.

In “Prom”, Katie confronts a classmate’s mom when she suspects Anna-Kat is being bullied at school.

Meanwhile, Taylor sets out to complete the final item on her life skills checklist – teaching Greg to shoot a three-pointer – so that she can attend her senior prom.

At the same time, Oliver is sympathetic when a caller at the Teen Help Line confides that no one asked her to prom.
