The first teaser trailer for Jenna Ortega and Maddie Ziegler‘s upcoming movie The Fallout just premiered!

Secret Life of the American Teenager‘s Megan Park wrote and directed the film, which is actually her directorial debut.

The movie is a film about the unseen faces of a tragedy, those who can’t turn their pain into effecting positive change in the world because they are too afraid to leave their bedrooms. Three teenagers form a unique and dynamic bond as they navigate the never linear, often confusing journey to heal in a world that feels forever changed.

The Fallout was filmed last August and also stars Niles Fitch, Shailene Woodley, Will Ropp, Lumi Pollack, John Ortiz and Julie Bowen. The movie will make it’s debut at the 2021 SXSW Festival on March 17th.

The teaser also features the song “While You Sleep,” which was written and performed by Lennon & Maisy. Finneas is composing the score for the film.

Shailene Woodley (Amy Jeurgens), Francia Raisa (Adrian Lee), Megan Park (Grace Bowman), Ken Baumann (Ben Boykewich), Allen Evangelista (Henry Miller), Camille Winbush (Lauren Tracey), Renee Olstead (Madison Cooperstein) and special guest Molly Ringwald (Anne Jeurgens) all took part, along with host, JJJ‘s own, Jared Eng.

The cast originally said that they would reunite if 300 people made a voting plan, and over 5,000 people made a voting pledge!

During the virtual reunion, they talked about all things voting, and they also dished about behind-the-scenes of the series, where their characters would be in 10 years, and what kinds of topics the show would cover if it were on today.

The cast also shared if they would be down to film a one-off reunion episode. Check out the video now!

“I feel like we’re actual high school friends,” Megan said about having the cast together. “We sort of have had these formative years together, so to me, you guys actually feel like my OG high school friends, which is kind of cool.”

The cast of The Secret Life of the American Teenager are reuniting after over seven years since the show ended on ABC Family (now Freeform).

Francia Raisa, who played Adrian, shared the exciting news on her Instagram, along with a call to action!

Shailene Woodley has joined the cast of The Fallout!

The 28-year-old actress will reunite with her former The Secret Life of the American Teenager co-star Megan Park, who is directing the movie.

The Fallout follows “high schooler Vada (Jenna Ortega) who navigates the emotional fallout she experiences in the wake of a school tragedy. Relationships with her family, friends and view on the world are forever altered,” according to Deadline.

Megan wrote and is making her feature film directorial debut with the movie, which is wrapping up production this week in Los Angeles.

“I’m halfway through directing my first feature ‘The Fallout’ and I think this picture perfectly sums up the vibe. Are you exciteddddd? 🤭🥳🤩,” Megan shared on Instagram last week. Check out the pic below!

Jenna Ortega has lined up yet another movie!

The 17-year-old actress has been cast in the new film The Fallout, which high schooler Vada navigates the emotional fallout she experiences in the wake of a school tragedy.

Relationships with her family, friends and view on the world are forever altered, Deadline reports.

The Fallout will be written and directed by The Secret Life of the American Teenager‘s Megan Park, marking her feature film debut as a director and writer.

“Ummm…. pinch me v v v hard plz?! Beyond excited & grateful 😭🤩😭,” Megan wrote on Instagram.

“Ah! Thank you for trusting me with this role, I’m incredibly excited and grateful to be headed on this journey with you,” Jenna wrote in the comments on Megan‘s post.

Some of Megan‘s celeb friends even congratulated her in the comments.

“HERE WE GOOOOO! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽,” Francia Raisa wrote, with Jordan Fisher adding, “Yes!!!”

In case you missed it, Megan recently welcomed her first child into the world with husband Tyler Hilton. The two are parents to a baby girl named Winnie.

OMG! Grace and Adrian have reunited!!

Former The Secret Life of the American Life co-stars Francia Raisa and Megan Park happened to run into each other on Wednesday (March 28) and snapped a photo to share with the world.

“American Teenagers,” Francia captioned the photo, to which Megan commented, “STILL SMILING ILY”

Megan also shared a video on her Instagram where Francia says, “Grace, what are you doing?”

“BEST SURPRISE EVER! @franciaraisa,” Megan captioned the video, adding a heart emoji.

The girls also ran into another co-star, DeVaughn Nixon, who played Francia‘s fiance in the last couple of seasons.

Francia Raisa donated a kidney to close friend Selena Gomez this summer, and we are all in awe of her selflessness.

We aren’t the only ones. Francia‘s former Secret Life of the American Teenager co-star, Megan Park, is floored by her generosity.

“I’ve always been in awe of your bravery and kindness but have been completely blown away by truly how selfless and strong you are through this,” Megan wrote on Instagram yesterday (September 14). “Hero status man. Love you.”

It really is. We’re so glad Megan and Francia still support one another so many years after the show ended.
