Australian radio host Ash London is signing off of social media for a little while after receiving a ton of backlash from enraged One Direction and Louis Tomlinson fans.
The 2DayFM presenter ignited controversy after joking about Louis‘ facial hair before playing their prerecorded interview on the radio.
“Kind of like ratty facial hair,” she described Louis on the air to her co-host.
“He’s not Harry Styles basically. He’s the least popular one,” added co-host Ed Kavalee.
Ash received backlash on social media – to the point where she made her Twitter private before issuing a statement.
“I am a music fan. I love that it brings so much passion out in people. This morning on air we had a great interview with Louis. As always — he was a total legend. I loved talking about how far he’s come, his new music and his future which looks so bright. We love Louis and will continue supporting him and his new music as we have always done.”
Louis then responded to this message: “Probs best to stay on private for a bit longer love!” along with a middle finger emoji.
“I’ll be off socials for a bit – the abuse and threats are a little much for me right now,” she then wrote in a second post.

Probs best to stay on private for a bit longer love ! ????
“I’m going to have to say Niall, because, of course, he pushed me into that alone,” Liam said after answering the question straight from Niall! “I can’t really say anything else.”
But even though he was “forced” to say that he liked Niall the best, Liam has actually been a Niall fan for a long time.
“I actually did a thing one time when I copied all the fans and did like a Mrs. Horan page and changed my whole Twitter to Mrs. Horan,” he recalled.
“I kept taking pictures of me like, ‘Oh my god, Niall’s here.’…So I can honestly say Niall and I’ve been a fan for a long time.”
Teaming up with singers Sam Tsui and Alexander Stewart, the musicians put together One Direction‘s “What Makes You Beautiful” with Shawn‘s “Life of the Party”.
If that wasn’t perfect enough, then they added in “Stitches,” “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” “Live While We’re Young,” “Drag Me Down,” and “Story Of My Life.”
Seriously, it’s the perfect mashup and you need to listen and watch it right now.
“I shouldn’t have been able to do as many shows as we did, if I’m honest about it, if I’m brutally honest about it,” he admitted.
“Going out and putting that happy smile on my face and singing the songs, honestly, sometimes it was like putting on one of those costumes, going out there and, underneath the costume, people don’t really see what’s going on,” he added.
As much as it killed to see the band go their separate ways, we’re definitely glad the guys are getting the chance to breathe, branch out, and work on their own sounds.
