Sarah Hyland is set to star in a brand new show titled Yours, Mine & Paul!

The 29-year-old actress will play the lead role of Lauren in her first TV role since Modern Family ended earlier this year.

Speaking of, Yours, Mine & Paul will also reunite Sarah with her TV dad Ty Burrell, who serves as an executive producer on the new series, Deadline reports.

The new show will center on Lauren, “who agrees to be a surrogate for her best friend, Paul, and his husband, Xander. There’s just one problem: Lauren and Xander hate each other. Oh, also Paul dies in the cold open.”

Lauren is described as “an impulsive, faux-enlightened millennial who agrees to be the egg donor and surrogate for her best friend Paul, and his husband Xander, despite (or maybe because of) the fact that she and Xander are constantly competing for Paul’s attention.

She likes the idea of being the glowing, pregnant center of attention for nine months without having to take care of a crying baby at the end of it. After Paul’s sudden death, she is confronted with the looming possibility of motherhood and co-parenting with her nemesis.”

Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams are celebrating what would have been their big day!

The 29-year-old actress revealed that she and the 36-year-old Bachelor Nation alum were planning on getting married on Saturday (August 8), but they had to postpone their wedding because of the pandemic.

Despite not being able to walk down the aisle, that doesn’t mean Sarah and Wells aren’t going to celebrate!

“A couple, a pandemic, & a postponed wedding: A series. We were supposed to get married today. Instead… we took pictures and drank wine. I love you to Pluto & back @wellsadams ✨” Sarah wrote while she and Wells hung out in a vineyard.

It’s been a full year since Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams got engaged!

To celebrate the anniversary, the cute couple shared messages on social media.

“One year engaged to my best friend. So grateful to be quarantined with the love of my life 🥰 One day we’ll get married, but for now, I’ll take eating junk food and Netflix all day every day 😂 I love you to Pluto and back baby 😘,” Sarah captioned her post.

“A year ago today I asked my best friend to marry me. Best decision of my life. Happy engagement anniversary @sarahhyland, I love you +1 anything you say,” Wells wrote.

Sarah and Wells were going to start planning their wedding this year, but had to put things on hold because of the pandemic.

“No plans as of right now. We’ve put all planning on hold,” Sarah said during a recent episode of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!. “All of my family is mostly on the East Coast, so for them to fly out… and just ages and of course with my health risks, we want to be as safe as possible.”

Earlier this year, Wells shared how many fights he and Sarah have had while in quarantine!

The two ladies are among many celebs that will be appearing in the upcoming new season.

Among the celebrity judges are Bebe Rexha, Tommy Dorfman, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Sam Richardson, Todrick Hall, Jane Krakowski, Nicole Byer, Tessa Thompson, Martyn Lawrence Bullard and starting the season off with Ricky Martin.

Sarah Hyland shared a tweet she posted earlier this year that kind of stung a little, given today’s circumstances…

Just in to the new year, the 29-year-old actress tweeted about kicking off the new year strong.

“If you start off 2020 super sick that means nothing else bad can happen the rest of the year right? RIGHT?!” she wrote on January 4th.

On Tuesday (May 18), Sarah retweeted it and added, “This tweet did not age well…”

That same day, she showed off her new hair do on Instagram.

“‘I wanna be where the people are…’ #QuaranTINT crew🧜‍♀️ (I did this all by myself! Very proud ☺️),” Sarah captioned a few photos of her new look, quoting “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid. See her look below!

Sarah Hyland and fiance Wells Adams are quarantining really well together.

The 35-year-old Bachelor in Paradise star opened up to US Weekly in a new interview and revealed that since the stay at home order started, the duo have only had one fight.

It happened “because Sarah stole the last piece of the puzzle.” LOL!

Wells also added that being in quarantine with Sarah just “reconfirmed that I made a good decision [in choosing her as a partner]” and that coronavirus crisis has been “scary and anxiety-ridden just because you don’t know the future — but it’s been nice spending a lot of time with her.”

“If this had never happened, I would have been working on a different project and then [Bachelor in] Paradise. I would have been gone for basically the entire summer. So, you got to silver-lining this thing or glass half-full. It’s been nice to get to spend a bunch of time with my fiancée.”

If you missed it, Wells also opened up about how they aren’t planning their wedding right now.

Sarah Hyland currently isn’t planning her wedding to Wells Adams during quarantine.

Wells opened up to Access Hollywood in a new interview, sharing that any plans they had to start planning have been put on hold due to coronavirus.

“There are no wedding plans,” Wells shared. “The thought was that we’d start thinking about that around this time, but now this is happening…”

He adds “What’s the point of even trying to get something solidified with everything being so up in the air?”

Wells also shot down the possibility of a Zoom wedding, which many are turning to at the moment.

“If it lasts really really long, I think we could do a small backyard thing. But that’s probably not going to happen,” he added.
