Jacob Elordi, Brenton Thwaites & Dacre Montgomery Suit Up at G'Day USA Benefit

Jacob Elordi shows off his mustache while attending the G’Day USA 2020 | Standing Together Dinner held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Saturday (January 25) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 22-year-old actor was joined by fellow Australians Brenton Thwaites and Dacre Montgomery, with girlfriend Liv Pollock.

Also in attendance were Dancing With The Stars pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd, Sharna Burgess, and Keo Motsepe, as well as Danielle Macdonald, 5 Seconds of Summer and Everything’s Gonna Be Okay‘s Josh Thomas.

“It was a bittersweet feeling at our @gdayusa benefit last night,” Peta wrote on Instagram.

“The generosity from my new home (the USA) overwhelmed me and moved me to tears. Each video shown was a knife to the heart, our country, our beautiful land has been utterly destroyed, millions of animals perished and lives were lost,” she added. “It’s quite traumatizing to watch, and I can’t quite fully comprehend the magnitude of devastation. I also can’t imagine what our brave firefighters and volunteers have had to see and endure.”

Sharna Burgess & Artem Chigvintsev Are Working on a Second Project Together

Sharna Burgess steps out and supports longtime friend Victoria Arlen at the launch of her new Jockey collection held at SIXTY Beverly Hills on Thursday night (September 26) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The former Dancing With The Stars pro dancer and Victoria posed for some super cute pics inside the event. So cute!

Sharna recently chatted with ET about her next project, and it’s with Artem Chigvintsev again. The two previously worked on a piece for the recent season of So You Think You Can Dance, following them not returning for DWTS season 28.

“We’re actually building a show concept to pitch a live show … it’s a very new concept,” she teased. “Artem and I are putting it together to both be in it, but also produce it. We’re working with a great team right now putting it together. It’s super, super exciting. It’s just something different, wild and creative.”

Sharna added, “Dance and acting related, it’s a live show! Artem and I have always danced well together. There are people that just move with an energy that you connect to and Artem is one of them. He can take up frame with me and I don’t even need to know the steps. He can lead me around that floor into anything. Honestly, that’s how half of our dances on [DWTS] tour came together.”

Sharna Burgess Heads To 'So You Think You Can Dance' For Special Performance

Sharna Burgess isn’t too worried about not being a pro on Dancing With The Stars this season.

Instead, the 34-year-old dancer is working on So You Think You Can Dance!

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Sharna opened up about working with fellow former DWTS pro Artem Chigvintsev on the Fox show.

“I’m about to head to my second rehearsal for So You Think You Can Dance because, yes, I’m choreographing this week. But guess what? It’s not just me. I’m choreographing with Artem,” she shared in the video. “We have teamed up, and we are doing a routine.”

Sharna added, “I can’t tell you what it is. Can’t tell you who it’s with. But I can tell you it’s a lot of fun, and you shouldn’t miss out on it. It’s been a good few days, guys.”

The Top 4 dancers were just named earlier this week and we can’t wait to watch the show next Monday!

Sharna Burgess Was 'More Shocked' That She Wouldn't Be Returning For DWTS, Artem Chigvintsev Says

When the pros were announced for the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars, we were shocked to see reigning champ Sharna Burgess not on that list.

Sharna was one of two long-running pros not on the list, including Artem Chigvintsev, who opened up about his unexpected departure from the show on The Bellas podcast.

Speaking again to ET, Artem opened up about the situation and says that Sharna was even more shocked than he was not to be returning for the new season.

“She was, honestly, probably like even more shocked than I am. Because when you win the last season, you would think you’d have a guaranteed spot. In the past 27 seasons, this was the case — you won, you’re obviously in, you’re the reigning mirrorball champion!” Artem shared.

He continued, “I don’t think she had any thought in her head that she wouldn’t be back, simply because of the winning situation. But I also understand that there was so much controversy with Bobby [Bones] winning. I don’t know if that somehow affected it, but if that were the case, I’d be even more upset for her.”

“She didn’t choose her partner, she was given her partner, and she did the best she could [with him] during the show. She did her job with what was expected of her, and if she weren’t part of the show because of Bobby? That would be really bad.”

Just a few weeks earlier, Sharna had posted an Instagram saying she was grateful for her time on the show. Although, at that time, she didn’t know she wouldn’t be returning.

Dancing With The Stars returns on Monday, September 16th on ABC.

“We don’t even know if we’re on the show,” Jenna shared, before talking about the ideal celeb she’d love to be teamed up with :”I would love, like, a football player. I haven’t had one yet. That would be really fun. I think he would just, like, throw me across the dance floor.”

Val added, “This is probably the best season we’ve had thus far and it’s going to be fresh and new and I’m excited for the audience to see it.”
