The cast for Nickelodeon‘s brand new series That Girl Lay Lay has just been revealed!
Alaya “That Girl Lay Lay” High will of course star as Lay Lay, with All That‘s Gabrielle Neveah Green also joining the cast.

Alaya “That Girl Lay Lay” High is getting her own TV show!
Nickelodeon just announced that the network has given the greenlight to a brand new series starring Lay Lay.
This marks Lay Lay‘s first project under the overall deal she signed with the network back in June 2020.
In That Girl Lay Lay (working title), phone avatar Lay Lay is the perfect hype girl and best friend that anyone could ever want from their personal affirmation app. Struggling to make her mark at school and needing a best friend to talk to, Sadie wishes upon a star that Lay Lay was real and could help teach her how to stand out. When her wish comes true and Lay Lay is magically brought to life, the two friends learn that when they are together, they can accomplish anything.
The series will consist of 13 episodes and is executive produced by Side Hustle‘s John Beck and Ron Hart.

The 13-year-old hip hop artist and social media star just signed an overall deal with Nickelodeon.
“I’m so excited to be joining the Nickelodeon family! I grew up watching Nick and this opportunity is seriously a dream come true. I have the best fans in the world, and I can’t wait to take them on this journey with me,” Lay Lay said in a statement.
Lay Lay will work with the network to develop original multiplatform programming, music initiatives, and build a cross-category consumer products business, much like JoJo Siwa!
Nickelodeon’s strategy includes developing content for all Nickelodeon platforms, supporting her music career and an exclusive line of consumer products with merchandising agreements spanning categories such as fashion, accessories, publishing and more.
