According to Vulture, the 23-year-old The King actor is set to make his London stage debut next year in 4,000 Miles, with Dame Eileen Atkins.
4,000 Miles follows 21-year-old Leo, who sets off on a cross-country cycling trip with his best friend. After going silent for weeks, he appears at his grandmother Vera’s door and they attempt to forge a life beyond grief in Manhattan.
Tickets will go on sale on December 3rd and the play is set to debut in April 2020.
Timothee Chalamet stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers to open up about all his new projects, The King and the upcoming Little Women.
During his interview, the 23-year-old actor revealed the “weird” situation and moment where he was starstruck over meeting Emma Watson, who plays Meg in Little Women.
“As an ice breaker, to lose our masks and our shields of defense of insecurity, Greta [Gerwig] had us do this dance class in this big room,” Timothee explained. “Being the only guy was not the deficit…but I grew up on Harry Potter in some way. I grew up seeing those movies, and the first time seeing Emma Watson…that was definitely a weird moment.

The upcoming movie centers on Hal (Chalamet), the wayward prince and reluctant heir to the English throne, who has turned his back on royal life and is living among the people. Now the young king must navigate the palace politics, chaos and war his father left behind, and the emotional strings of his past life — including his relationship with his closest friend and mentor, the ageing alcoholic knight, John Falstaff (Joel Edgerton).

During the panel event, the cast opened up about how they all got into character, with Florence admitted that she and Saoirse actually wrestled on the set.
“Saoirse and I would wrestle occasionally,†she shared. “One of the last weeks of shooting, it was the scene where we had to wrestle…we’d been wanting to fight for a really long time. Just before it started, I went up to her and said, ‘Hit me,’ and she’s like, ‘What?’ And I said ‘Hit me in the face.’ We double-checked with the camera guy, and we did it. It felt great.â€
Little Women is set to open on Christmas Day.
