The Flash‘s seventh season is finally here!

The new season premieres TONIGHT (March 2) and picks up right where we left off at the end of season six.

In “All’s Well That Ends Well,” when an experiment to save Barry’s (Grant Gustin) speed backfires, Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh) searches for a way to save The Flash and comes up with a dangerous plan. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) makes a startling realization inside the Mirrorverse and Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) faces off with Rosa Dillon (Ashley Rickards).

Hours before the premiere, Grant took to Instagram to share a special note with fans, and he also mentioned that the first few episodes of the new season are what were supposed to be the end of the previous season.

“We’ll be picking up with what should’ve been the final three episodes of season 6, 2 of which had been almost entirely completed since last March. I hope everyone enjoys season 7!” he wrote.

New 'The Flash' Trailer Teases Upcoming Season 7 - Watch Now!

The trailer for the upcoming seventh season of The Flash has finally arrived!

In the trailer, Barry (Grant Gustin) is in a race against time to save Iris (Candice Patton) from the mirrorverse.

The new season of The Flash will of course wrap up the end of season six before moving on with the next story.

Most notably, the character Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man will not be in the new season as actor Hartley Sawyer was fired from the series last summer. Find out what they’re going to do to the character…

The upcoming season is also going to be a little different for Jesse L Martin‘s Joe West. His storyline has “been inspired by the societal changes happening in today’s world,” showrunner Eric Wallace previously revealed.

The Flash season seven will premiere on March 2nd, after being pushed a week due to Superman & Lois.

Candice Patton & Grant Gustin Don't Want You To Worry About Barry & Iris Splitting Up on 'The Flash'

Candice Patton and Grant Gustin pose for a picture together during The Flash cast’s signing session during 2019 Comic-Con over the weekend in San Diego, Calif.

The two stars were joined by their co-stars Hartley Sawyer, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, and Carlos Valdes for the meet and greet event with fans.

Just after the show’s panel earlier in the day, Candice and Grant opened up about the future of WestAllen and how you shouldn’t be worried about them splitting up at all.

“We’re pretty much still dealing with the shock of it [losing Nora], and Barry is trying aggressively to be optimistic and move forward and probably, to a fault, not dealing with it in all the way he should be dealing with it,” Grant shares about what’s going on in the couple’s lives right now.

Candice added, “I think you’ll see kind of early on, Iris kind of questions how they’re both dealing with it. They really talk about what the appropriate way is to kind of grieve Nora so that they can move forward in a positive way and get back to Team Flash, and do it in a way so that they can sustain themselves as a married couple.”

And if you’ve been worried about a divorce coming, don’t – “There’s tension, but we are coming closer in some ways too,” Grant says.

“It’s good marital tension, where it’s like, you’re not afraid of them getting divorced, but they’ve got stuff to work out, you know?” Candice shared.

FYI: Candice is wearing a Camilla and Marc dress.
