OlderEmma Watson Joins 'The Circle' Film Adaptation
Emma Watson just landed a huge new movie role!
According to Variety, the 25-year-old actress has joined the upcoming film adaptation of Dave Eggers‘ novel “The Circle” alongside Tom Hanks!
Emma will play “an employee hired for a big job in an Internet monopoly called the Circle, which links users’ personal emails, social media, banking and purchasing with their universal operating system, resulting in one online identity and a new age of civility and transparency.”
The script is being written by James Ponsoldt, who penned The Spectacular Now, while Tom will be producing.
“Emma Watson is one of my favorite actors, and her incredible talent, sensitivity and deep intelligence will bring an electric energy to The Circle,” James said.
Production is set to begin in September in California. We can’t wait to see it!
