OlderMaisie Williams Shares First Look at 'Early Man' Character Goona
Maisie Williams is officially joining Early Man!
The Game of Thrones actress got a glimpse at her claymation character for the upcoming movie, which also stars Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston.
The film comes from animation icons Aardman, the studios behind Wallace & Gromit, and Shaun the Sheep.
Maisie will voice Goona, the gallant and indomitable rebel who befriends the film’s hero, Dug (Redmayne), and helps steer him through the clash of the Stone Age and Bronze Age civilizations.
“I’m a huge Aardman fan – having the chance to work with Nick Park is a dream come true, especially as I get to voice such a fantastic character as Goona,” she shared in a statement. “I can’t wait for audiences to meet her.”
Maisie is also pictured leaving BBC Studios after promoting her new Netflix film, iBoy.
