'Glee' Cast Share Memories & Thanks on 10th Anniversary

The cast of Glee is getting sentimental on Sunday (May 19) as it’s the show’s 10 year anniversary!

The hit musical show premiered on May 19, 2009, on Fox and changed the lives of many across the world.

Glee ran for six seasons, featured over 728 musical numbers, a concert film, and multiple soundtrack compilations. The cast of the show also embarked on two concert tours.

Members of the cast included Matthew Morrison as the McKinley High choir teacher Will Schuester, Jane Lynch as the mean cheer coach Sue Sylvester, as well as students Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Chris Colfer, Dianna Agron, Harry Shum Jr, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Alex Newell, Mark Salling, Chord Oversreet, Darren Criss, Melissa Benoist, Grant Gustin, Max Adler, Lauren Potter, Blake Jenner, and more!

Glee also had a ton of guest stars including Britney Spears, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Jeff Goldblum, Ricky Martin, Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Carol Burnett, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, and Whoopi Goldberg, among others.

Ahead of the show’s fifth season, star Cory Monteith passed away from a drug and alcohol overdose. The show honored the late actor in the third episode of that season with a tribute episode titled “The Quarterback”.

Stars from the show have gone on to appear on Broadway, London’s West End, perform sold out concert tours, music albums, TV shows, movies and more!

The cast of Glee got together, and we’re feeling major nostalgia!

The cast and crew of the hit Ryan Murphy show all got together for a reunion dinner on Tuesday (March 6) in Los Angeles.

The reunion included Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Jane Lynch, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Becca Tobin and Vanessa Lengies, who all reunited for dinner.

The actors were joined by choreographer Zachary Woodlee, script coordinator Aristotle Kousakis, and writers Matt Hodgson and Michael Hitchcock, as well as Matthew’s wife Renee Puente and their 4-month old son, Revel.

Today is a huge day for Amber Riley — she just won an Olivier Award!

The Glee alum, who is currently starring in Dreamgirls on London’s West End, just picked up the Best Actress in a Musical award — beating out Glenn Close, Sheridan Smith and The Girls cast for the honor.

Amber‘s former Glee co-stars are freaking out over it too!

“The amount of emojis I’ve sent this girl is just obscene! Congrats @MsAmberPRiley on your #OlivierAward! We couldn’t love you more!” Chris Colfer shared on Twitter.

Harry Shum, Jr. added, “I am so damn proud of you!!!!”

Heather Morris Got Amazing Advice From Amber Riley For 'Dancing With The Stars'

Back in season 17 (fall 2013), Glee actress Amber Riley won the mirrored-ball trophy with Derek Hough on Dancing With The Stars.

Now her former co-star Heather Morris is competing for the same honor with partner Maksim Chmkerkovskiy.

In a recent interview, Heather revealed that Amber gave her advice for the show — and it’s some of the best!

“She was like, ‘Just be yourself, have fun with it, and really enjoy it,’” Heather revealed.

She adds, after finding out it was much more than she anticipated: “I expected it to be a lot. I was very aware that it was going to be a lot, and a lot of things are going fun. And it is. It’s a lot of things, and it’s a lot is going on. But it’s actually such a cool experience.”

Amber Riley Performs 'I Am Changing' & Opens Up About Joining the 'Dreamgirls' Cast

Amber Riley is getting ready to make her debut as Effie in the upcoming London production of Dreamgirls in London and she’s opening up about her role.

The 30-year-old actress took to her Twitter to share her thoughts about playing Effie and share a stunning performance of “I Am Changing.”

“I think the thing that excites me about Effie and this role is that it’s challenging – vocally, emotionally,” she explained.

Amber added, Even though she’s young in the beginning, she has this full arch and a full evolution that happens and I haven’t been able to experience that.”

Jordin Sparks Slams Audience for Disrespecting Performers

Jordin Sparks and Amber Riley look great while stopping for pictures at the 2016 McDonald’s 365 Black Awards on Friday (July 1) in New Orleans, La.

The former Glee actress hosted the event alongside Lance Gross and they posed together on the carpet.

After the event, Jordin called out the audience for being disrespectful by using their phones throughout performances.

“It’s so frustrating when ppl have no respect 4 artists/audience members when they are on their phone during performances… on full brightness & then try 2 take pics with a flash. Come on now, we know how this works, we’ve had these smart phones for yrs now,” Jordin tweeted. “Don’t be rude. Have some respect 4 the performer up on the stage & the audience members actually trying 2 watch & pay attn or don’t come!”
