On how he wants to be remembered: “I just want to be remembered for someone who was fearless. I want to not care what the rest of the world thinks of me. I want people to remember I went for it and made a real stamp in whatever industry I’m in. There have been times when I’ve wanted to take a breather, but nothing beats traveling the world and seeing fans sing your songs.â€
On growing up in the country: “I was never a popular guy, I didn’t have many friends,†he reveals. “I left high school early and didn’t care what anyone was doing. I was a city boy living in a country town, and going from that to ‘You’re a superstar, girls are chasing you’ really helped me break out of my shell. Being a ram, you have to go headfirst in every situation and adapt—we go for what we want and don’t stop until we get it.â€
On dating a fan: “I’ve dated a fan before. I can’t tell you who, I have to keep that a secret. She DM’d me—you know everybody can get a hold of anybody now. You can’t help who you fall in love with.â€

On his idea of a perfect date: “Spending the day on a boat in Miami relaxing. Then pulling up to a restaurant on the water, Miami has all of these great waterside restaurants and you can just pull your boat right up. After dinner then we’d go out and dance somewhere. Always dancing.”
On sex on the first date: “I don’t think it’s good or bad, only you know what’s right for you and whats right in the moment.”
On his perspective on female beauty: “It really is a lot more than just how someone looks. I feel true beauty is how someone carry’s them selves and treats others.”
On the worst date he’s been on: “I was on a movie date one time and someone screamed there was a man with a gun at the theater and that was pretty terrifying.”
On his dream Valentine: “Rihanna. She’s so talented, I’m such a fan. I really hope that the rumor about her 9th album is true. We need some new Rihanna music in the world.”
