Cole Sprouse is opening up about the possibility of a reboot of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody!
The 27-year-old Riverdale actor, who starred in the show alongside twin Dylan, dished to Jimmy Fallon that he’s not really a fan of the idea.
“I’ve had the privilege of being a part of a lot of fun TV shows when I was younger that kind of became cult classics or fan favorites like Suite Life or Friends, and there’s always that question that pops up. You know, there’s always that, ‘When are you going to go back?’ or ‘When are you going to renew it?’ But I don’t think it should be done if I’m being honest,” Cole said.
“I think it’s really incendiary. There’s a huge potential to kind of demolish that perfect little golden memory of a program if you go back and you revive it,” he continued. “Look, I’m not the biggest fan of the sequel and the spin-off thing. I think also, if enough time elapses, everyone who comes back to a program like that, doesn’t… they’re not really in the same head space, so they’re trying to capture the same feeling that it was in at least my childhood. That sort of strange age of sitcom when we were four-camera, live audience and filming in Hollywood. I don’t know how it would feel.”
“I think it would be enjoyable to find a way to do it that has a lot of respect and captures the feeling that people are actually desiring from that. But I don’t know, I think it can be quite incendiary,” he concluded.
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody recently celebrated 15 years since the premiere of the show!
No one is quite sure why Twitter tried to cancel Cole Sprouse this week, but his girlfriend Lili Reinhart is not having it.
The actress took to Twitter to post a series of tweets, which have since been deleted, to slam those who were using the #ColeSprouseIsOverParty hashtag.
“Twitter is such a vile place. It’s so easy to say sh-t behind your f–king phone, isn’t it? This is why people choose to keep their relationships private… this is why people don’t have social media.. because of this bullying,” Lili wrote in a tweet that was since deleted.
“I don’t tolerate any of that s–t. Bully me? Sure fine. But attacking someone for literally no reason, just for the sake of a f–king twitter trend?†Lili continued. “Please… reassess yourself and your ego before you send another tweet into the abyss.â€
“It’s easy to criticize someone and spew hate because it makes you feel like you have some sort of power over them,†Lili said. “Truth is… you don’t. Saying you hate someone or don’t like them gives you absolutely no power over them.â€
“You need to tweet about someone you literally don’t know in order to feel like you have something going on in your life? That’s sad. It’s really f–king sad. You want to feel validated or important? Attacking someone online won’t give that to you. Do something helpful with your time and be better,” Lili concluded.
Lili and Cole, who both star on The CW’s Riverdale, have been a couple since 2017. Just a couple weeks ago, she spoke out amid rumors that they had split.
The two, who are quarantining separately, have been rumored to have split again after it seemed that Cole was hanging out with Kaia Gerber.
Coleaddressed the talk in a few Instagram Story posts, and a source close to the couple shared that the photos of Kaia were old.
“The photos of Kaia at Cole‘s house are old,” they told E! News. “Cole and Kaia are just friends and have never been romantic.”
Now, Lili has put out her thoughts on the break up rumors, in since deleted posts on social media.
“Twitter is actually the most toxic form of social media. People are assholes for the sake of being a–holes. Do you not understand karma? It’s fine if you don’t, you’ll understand when it bites your miserable a–,” she wrote on Twitter (via Glamour UK).
“Dear everyone on social media, Don’t put down people for the sake of putting them down. Don’t be a f—king asshole. The world doesn’t need anymore of that sh–,” Lili added on Instagram.
The source added to E! News that Cole and Lili are very much still together and talk every day.
“Lili and Cole are still together. They haven’t been [in quarantine] together but haven’t split,” they said. “Their relationship is always up and down but they do talk every day and care very much about one another. Lili and Cole have been trying to be more low-key.”
Cole Sprouse is speaking out amid constant speculation and rumors about his love life.
If you don’t know, Cole, 27, had been linked to his Riverdale co-star Lili Reinhart, 23, since 2017 but recently, faced rumors of a split. Just a few days ago, model Kaia Gerber, 18, posted photos that fans think were taken at Cole‘s home, prompting speculation that they may be an item. Others are saying the photos are old.
“I tolerate a lot of rumors and slander from people online claiming to be my fans. Fans who feel entitled to my privacy precisely because I never indulge them,” Cole posted on his Instagram Story on Sunday (April 19). “But attacking my friends, baseless accusations, leaking my address and sending death threats are all qualities of insanity and fanaticism.”
“When I first stepped into a public relationship this was one of the foreseeable consequences. And while I truly never intended to indulge any part of my private life to the ravenous horde, it’s clear my restraint in updating them has allowed them to push their own agenda onto my habits and lifestyle,” he continued.

Suite Life also spawned the spinoff The Suite Life On Deck, which took the twins, London Tipton, and Mr Moseby to the high seas.
The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, The Suite Life On Deck, and The Suite Life Movie are available to stream on Disney+ NOW!
Now, Cole of course stars on Riverdale while Dylan will soon be seen in After We Collided. Ashley has recently co-starred on Carol’s Second Act on CBS, as well as Merry Happy Whatever on Netflix. Brenda can be seen in Dollface on Hulu.
The 22-year-old actor explained that his Riverdale co-star was the one to suggest that he hire a stylist.
“[He] looked at me about two years ago, and he goes, ‘Bro, you need a stylist.’ I was showing up to red carpets in jeans and button-down T-shirts. And I realized, Yeah, I’ve got to get this sorted out,” KJ told Men’s Health.
Thanks to his stylist, Warren Alfie Baker, KJ began to feel more confident dressing more formally.
“Confidence is everything. Otherwise everyone can see you look uncomfortable, and it’s not a good look,” KJ added.
