The longtime couple just returned from a New Year’s trip to Park City, Utah, ringing in the new year on top of a mountain.

Rico Rodriguez stands ready to fight at the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premiere held at the El Capitan Theatre on Monday (December 16) in Hollywood.
The 21-year-old actor was joined by his sister Raini Rodriguez, as well as his Modern Family co-star Nolan Gould.
Earlier in the day, Rico shared that he and Raini watched all of the Star Wars movies before going to the premiere to watch the final film.
“Last night, @Raini_Rodriguez and I concluded our @starwars movie marathon. We watched the entire saga, (including the stand alone movies) in A WEEK! All to prepare us for tonight’s premiere of #TheRiseOfSkywalker! I’m beyond excited to attend! #MayTheForceBeWithYou,” he shared on Twitter.

That day, Derek shared a joke on his Instagram about getting his appendix taken out.
“Dang girl, you’re like my appendix… Cause i don’t understand how you work, but this feeling in my stomach makes me want to take you out,” he posted.
The weekend before, Derek had emergency surgery to get his appendix removed after waking up early in the morning to severe pain.
