The DJ and the pop band – aka Sydney, Noah, and Graham Sierota – dropped the visual on Friday (April 5).
The video was directed by Drew Kirsch and co-written with Sydney.
“This video is an escape from reality, and a really fun juxtaposition to the very true and dark truth of the song,” Audien said. “The imagery is interesting to us and we think everyone will latch on!”
“The ‘Favorite Sound’ video serves as a reminder that you need to consciously ‘wash out’ the bad stuff (anxiety, depression, sadness etc.) and let it go,” Sydney added. “You can do that in a lot of different ways, but doing what I love, playing with our band, has always been a great way of doing that for me.”
Echosmith look fierce for their feature in Mood magazine‘s December issue, available in print and digital now!
The siblings rocked a few different amazing looks, and opened up about their music from start to now. Check it out:
Ontheir favorite memories from tour with Pentatonix: One of the best nights was one of our last off days on tour, and Pentatonix had an end of tour party on a boat. Most everyone from the crew and bands were there and we all got to really relax and hang with each other. Touring can be so crazy busy so it was nice to take a day to really enjoy everyone and connect on a deeper level.
On their dream collaboration: We would love to collaborate with Coldplay one day. Any form of collaboration is fine with us, ha! But if we could write a song with them, that would be a huge dream come true. To be able to hear their perspective on life and how to put it into a song would be pretty amazing.
