Gigi Hadid made it a goal of hers to star making bread while in quarantine and she just did it!
The 25-year-old model took to Instagram to show off the no-knead focaccia bread that she created using a recipe from Bon Appetit.
“homemade za’atar focaccia made for a happy Thursday :) — a quarantine goal of mine was to start making bread && I linked the easy no-knead recipe I used on my story today (and in the ‘From My Kitchen’ highlight)! worth the wait 🤤🌞🌞,” Gigi wrote on her Instagram page.
Gigi and her boyfriend Zayn Malik are expecting their first child.

It appears that the 27-year-old musician got a new tattoo on his forearm of Kahil Gibran‘s poem “On Love and Marriage”.
“You were born together and together you shall be forevermore. But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the Heavens dance between you. Love possesses not nor would it be possessed. Love one another but make it not a bond of love,” the poem reads.
“Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Sing and dance together and be joyous but let each one of you be alone. Give your hearts but not into each other’s keeping. Stand together yet not too near together. For the pillars of the temple stand apart and the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.â€
Since the poem is about love and marriage, it leaves many to wonder if the newly expecting couple have either gotten engaged, or even married!
“Also this week, didn’t really wanna leave it out, wanted to make sure I said something on my own place before I started getting asked about it relentlessly by everybody,†Liam said over the weekend. “I just wanted to say congratulations to Zayn and Gigi obviously, you know, they’re having a baby.â€
“Yeah! It’s very exciting news,” Dua said. “We’re very, very excited.”
Dua was also asked if she knew about the news before it broke on TMZ earlier in the week. She said, “Look, you guys are really putting me in place… I was a little bit before that, not long.”
The 25-year-old model is making an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about the happy news and you can watch a preview clip from the interview right here.
“Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support,” Gigi said in the video. “Especially during this time, it’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day.”
Gigi also talked about celebrating her 25th birthday this week and how everything bagels have been her craving. For her birthday, her family had Cake Boss‘ Buddy Valastro make her a cake in the shape of an everything bagel!
“I don’t know if it was my hormones right now or just like quarantine emotional-ness, I cried every five minutes for an hour every time I thought about how Buddy made my cake,” she said.
The mom of Gigi and Bella Hadid confirmed that her oldest daughter and boyfriend Zayn Malik are expecting, and even revealed when the baby is due.
“It is going well, but we are still in shock that our little secret has been leaked to the press,” Yolanda told Dutch celebrity news television showRTL Boulevard. “Of course we are thrilled.”
“I can’t wait to become a grandmother,” she continued. “It is quite special, since I lost my own mother so recently. That is the beauty of life: one soul is leaving us and another is coming. We feel very blessed.”
Yolanda also shared that the baby will be coming in September!
TMZ is reporting the news. So far, Zayn and Gigi have not publicly commented on their pregnancy. It appears as if they may have held a gender reveal party, but this is also unconfirmed.
Apparently, Gigi is about 20 weeks along in the pregnancy, and pregnant woman can usually find out the sex between 16 and 20 weeks.
