The Jane the Virgin cast is saying farewell to one of their own.
During last night’s episode, Brett Dier‘s character Michael was sadly killed off, and the entire cast took to social media to send their love to Brett.
“I have had such an incredible time on this show,” Brett wrote on Instagram. “It was one of the biggest moments of my life. Playing Michael has been a life changing experience, and I’m so thankful for it. I appreciate all my fans support, and all the beautiful tweets and comments about my characters journey. This cast and crew, writers and directors, I will never forget. You guys are truly incredible people. And I’m so glad I got to meet you, grow with you and have you all in my life. Most giving, generous group I’ve ever encountered. I will love you all forever. Truly…You felt like a part of me, and I always thought it was nuts when actors said that. But I get it. You will always be in my heart. Lots of love everybody. and thank you for this experience Jennie Urman. So grateful.”

Gina Rodriguez and pal Wilmer Valderrama get silly while inside The Paley Center for Media’s Hollywood Tribute to Hispanic Achievements in Television on Monday night (October 24) at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 32-year-old actress attended the event alongside Andrea Navedo, Eva Longoria, Prince Royce and Jaime Camil.

During the show, Gina and Wilmer were seated alongside Jamie and Prince Royce and it sounds like they all had a pretty great time!

Carlos PenaVega and Alexa are excited parents-to-be while stepping out at Variety’s 10 Latinos To Watch Ceremony held at The London West Hollywood on Wednesday night (September 28) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The married duo was joined at the party by From Dusk Till Dawn actress Eiza Gonzalez, Jane the Virgin‘s Jaime Camil, YouTube star Bethany Mota, Stuck in the Middle‘s Jenna Ortega and Kayla Maisonet, and Dead of Summer‘s Amber Coney.
The magazine brought together this year’s up-and-coming Latino talent in film and television, in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Gina Rodriguez is all smiles in between scenes while on set of Jane the Virgin on Wednesday (August 31) in Los Angeles.
The 32-year-old actress was spotted wearing fuzzy boots on set while chatting with episode three’s director Eva Longoria.
Eva helped give Gina and fellow cast members Brett Dier and Jaime Camil advice and tips in-between takes as they filmed in a local neighborhood.
Later in the day, Eva looked proud as she laughed at a playback of one of the scenes she directed.
Jane the Virgin is set to premiere on Monday, October 17 at 9|8c, on The CW.

Congrats to Jaime Camil on his new hosting gig!
According to THR, the Jane the Virgin star will host the 2016 Television Critics Association Awards.
“With his natural charm and quick wit, Jaime Camil has quickly become one of the most likeable personalities on television,” TCA president and THR contributor Amber Dowling said. “Camil, along with his beloved alter ego Rogelio De La Vega, are the perfect complement to add some sizzle to this special evening. The Television Critics Association is truly honored to have him onboard, as we come together to celebrate 32 years of the TCA Awards.”
The non-televised awards will take place on August 6 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
A big congrats is in order for Jaime Camil!
The Jane the Virgin star has officially joined the cast of Broadway’s Chicago as Billy Flynn, according to EW.
Jaime will take over for Ryan Silverman starting on May 31 for five weeks. Congrats Jaime!
“Thank you for letting me be a part of your talented family @chicagomusical It’ll be an honor to share the stage with you all” he tweeted.
Jaime follows in the footsteps of previous Billy’s, including Michael C. Hall, Usher, and Taye Diggs.
