Jennifer Lawrence looks absolutely stunning as she arrives at the premiere of her new movie mother! at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday night (September 10) at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada.
The 27-year-old actress was joined on the red carpet by co-star Javier Bardem along with boyfriend and director Darren Aronofsky.
“It’s scary,” she said. “It’s this new language that’s forming that I don’t even recognize. It’s really polarizing and upsetting. I’ve heard things and seen things on TV in my own country that devastate me and make me sick. It’s just really confusing.”
Jennifer added that it was difficult promoting her new movie while hurricanes Harvey and Irma were causing so much destruction.
“It’s also scary to know that climate change is due to human activity and we continue to ignore it,” she shared. “You’re watching these hurricanes now and it’s hard not to feel Mother Nature’s rage and wrath.”

The 27-year-old actress and the 48-year-old director hit the red carpet for the film’s French premiere on Thursday (September 7) at Cinema UGC Normandie in Paris, France.
Jennifer Lawrence wows again on the red carpet for the premiere of her film, mother!, held at Odeon Leicester Square in London on Wednesday (September 6).
The 27-year-old actress, who wore a “webby” sheer Atelier Versace dress for the event, admitted in a new interview that she actually ripped her diaphragm while filming the movie.
“I thought I would need this tent because of this one particular scene…where I was hyperventilating and passing out and then ripping my diaphragm,” Jennifer says. “I spent more time in the medical tent than in my Kardashian one.”
She adds, “I never had to go that far and a couple days [before] I was started to get worried about it. I don’t want to get anything away but nobody should feel what my character has to feel.”
While festival audiences will get to see the movie next week, the rest of us will have to wait until September 15 when the film hits theaters everywhere!

The actors and model teamed up in a new video for Dior‘s Love Chain initiative.
The charitable campaign asks viewers to post their own video responses to the question, “And you, what would you do for love?” using the hashtag #diorlovechain and tagging family and friends to do the same.
For each post, Dior will donate $1 to the WE Charity to benefit the WE Schools program, which helps young girls in Kenya receive an education.
“I think I would try to make myself a better person,” Robert says in the clip.
