Elsewhere, Alaric (Matthew Davis) and Dorian (Demetrius Bridges) make an alarming discovery about Professor Vardemus (Alexis Denisof), while Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) learns some upsetting news about Landon’s (Aria Shahghasemi) future.
Legacies airs TONIGHT, Thursday, December 5th @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.
The 40-year-old actor is putting in the final word on whether or not he would reprise his The Vampire Diaries role of Damon Salvatore on the latest spin-off Legacies.
“He’s not alive … Damon is dead. That’s how he finds Stefan. He became human, and then he knocks on the door and he goes home. Now he’s with his brother,” he told TV Guide.
While Ian wouldn’t appear on screen, he has expressed interest in following in Paul Wesley‘s footsteps and would love to direct an episode.
“I do know that when Paul went to direct Legacies, he sent me this video message like, ‘Whoa bro, this is insane,” Ian added. “Because they have the same set. They have our old set and stuff. It’s just like a time warp.”
The love triangle between Hope, Landon and Josie on Legacies is about to become even more complicated than it once was, Danielle Rose Russell reveals.
In her interview with TV Guide, the 20-year-old actress opened up about the relationship between the three characters, now that they have their memories back and know exactly who Hope is.
“I just think that he doesn’t know what to do,” Danielle shared about Landon’s (Aria Shahghasemi) shock of the situation. “He wants to do right by everyone, including Josie, and by himself. So I think he’s mixed in how to go about the way that he feels because he definitely cares for Josie as well, but he definitely knows that he’s in love with Hope too.”
“I think that she’s [Hope] sacred because she doesn’t know which direction he’s going to go in,” Danielle adds. “And she can’t expect him [to choose her] or blame him if he chooses something that makes her unhappy. So I think it’s really hard for her to try to disconnect and just let him decide.”
She added that Josie, played by Kaylee Bryant, is an important part of everything too.
“I think it’s gonna take some time for them to reach a good point in their relationship,” Danielle says. “I think that it’s going to be really hard for both people to fully be able to accept all the things that have happened. But it doesn’t mean it can’t happen.”
“I actually would love to talk to Jules [creator Julie Plec],” Ian said. “I would love to go and direct one of [the Legacies episodes]. Because I know Paul [Wesley] went to do it and he called me and he’s like, ‘Bro, this is f–king crazy.’ Because it’s all of our old sets, which is a time warp, 10 years ago. He’s just going, ‘Dude!’ He was actually kind of emotional about it, he goes ‘This is crazy!’”
“We spent eight years on the show, and now it’s two years later, which we’re still talking about it while we’re working on other things,” Ian Somerhalder added. “That’s a decade, 30 to 40. That’s a very substantial piece of your life. But I would actually love to go back and direct one. I love what they are doing. The show looks amazing, it’s all of my old team.”
Lizzie and Josie look worried while holding hands in this still from an all new episode of Legacies!
In “That’s Nothing I Had to Remember”, when a truth-seeking monster arrives in Mystic Falls during Commonwealth Day, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) and Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) fear that the secrets they’ve each been keeping have made them targets.
Meanwhile, MG (Quincy Fouse), Kaleb (Chris Lee) and Kym (Ebboney Wilson) seek out an unlikely ally, who may have knowledge on how to take down the latest monster. Finally, Freya (Riley Voelkel) receives an unexpected visit from one of the Salvatore Students.
Tune in to an all new episode of Legacies TONIGHT (November 21) at 9pm on The CW!
The 29-year-old actress opened up with TV Guide about her guest spot on the show and what fans can expect from her appearance.
“It’s through … Josie (Kaylee Bryant), who is trying to find Freya and talk to her about a spell she wants to do,” Riley shared about what or who brings her back to our world. “And Freya is reluctant to help her because who’s this school kid coming and asking her to do these really dangerous spells?”
She did add of where Freya is now: “[Freya] is still happily married with her wife Keelin, and they have a child. Yes, they have a little son named Nik who — I guess you can assume who [he's] named after. The Freelin fans will be very happy.”
