Little Mix Take the Stage Without Perrie Edwards in Brazil

Little Mix had to take the stage without Perrie Edwards but she was still feeling the love from Brazil!

The temporary trio – Leigh Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall – performed at the GRLS Festival on Sunday (March 8) in Sao Paulo.

Perrie was unable to join the group as she is recovering from an illness.

“Brazil, where do I even start? For 8 years I’ve been waiting for this moment and you have made it one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever had. There aren’t many places I can say feel like home, but that’s exactly how you made me feel. I felt so accepted, liberated and free on that stage it was a feeling I can’t put into words,” Leigh-Anne wrote on her Instagram after the show.

She continued, “I cannot thank you enough for the love you have shown each and every one of us, you even made pez feel the love from a million miles away (I miss you so much girl and I can’t wait for you to experience this 😍) We just have the most incredible fans you all have my heart forever! Brazil until next time, and there will be a next time because I’ve left a little bit of my heart here ❤️❤️❤️”

We hope Perrie is feeling better soon and able to rejoin the group!

Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall Calls The Band Her 'Saving Grace'

Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall Calls The Band Her 'Saving Grace'

Jade Thirlwall is opening up in a brand new interview about how being put in Little Mix was her “saving grace”.

In The Guardian’s The Weekend magazine, the 27-year-old singer is featured as a celeb look-a-like and talked about how she looked up to Diana Ross when she was growing up.

“I’m Arab, and when I was growing up there weren’t many famous people who looked like me. Maybe that’s another reason why I latched on to Diana – she was the closest I could get to seeing myself represented,” Jade says.

She adds, talking about how when Little Mix came along, it was the best thing for her.

“People think that girl band members are competitive, but my saving grace was being put in a group where we supported each other and gave each other confidence boosts,” Jade shared. “We were so young when we won, and very naive. Early on, the record company called us in for a meeting and told us that we had to stop walking around in onesies and Ugg boots because we were making them look bad. We just laughed.”

Jade also opened up about how when the band first started, she was met with body issues.

“On one of our first photoshoots, the magazine Photoshopped my nose, which gave me such a complex,” she says. “Suddenly I thought: is that how I’m supposed to look? For years afterwards, I wanted a nose job, and then a boob job. I still have days where I have a breakout and I feel like sh**, but I get over it. Now I’m happy with my ‘fashion’ tits; I’m happy with my face. I look in the mirror and I see someone I love.”

Just recently, the girls revealed that they once hated their band name, too!

In their defense, they only had ten minutes though.

Leigh Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, and Jade Thirwall each attempted to make their own, all while getting harshly criticized by the host.

Jesy eventually gave up and just walked away from her house, while Jade and Leigh Anne had the top two. Watch below to find out who won!
