Riverdale was just recently renewed for a third season and one of the stars, Madchen Amick, has some ideas about what she’d like to see happen.

Speaking with THR, the Alice Cooper portrayer hinted at a less crazy storyline.

“Season two was so crazy with the murder mystery and black hood and dead bodies and these poor kids running around,” she says. “I think maybe season three, let’s just calm it down a second and really flush out how the characters are reacting to each other.”

Madchen adds, “I want to give them a breather. Then we ramp it back up again.”

As for Alice and FP’s (Skeet Ulrich) rekindled romance, that’s something that Madchen would love to see more of.

“I really do want to see her finally get with FP, because that’s a big thing,” she shared. “They have a lot of history together, so I’d like to see that.”

Riverdale‘s season finale airs next week on The CW.

Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart are getting ready to talk all things Riverdale at the 2018 RiverCon convention!

The co-stars – and rumored real-life couple – were spotted leaving their hotel and heading to the two-day event on Saturday (March 31) in Paris, France.

Lili looked gorgeous in a floral dress and long pink coat, and Cole rocked a striped button-up shirt and black leather jacket.

They were joined by their other co-stars Marisol Nichols, Mädchen Amick, and Skeet Ulrich.

Casey Cott, Vanessa Morgan, and Lochlyn Munro are also expected to attend.

Cole and Lili were also seen touching down in Paris together on Friday.

Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes stick together on the black carpet at the Riverdale panel during the 2018 PaleyFest held at Dolby Theatre on Sunday night (March 25) in Hollywood.

The two actors were joined by co-stars KJ Apa, Cole Sprouse, Ashleigh Murray, and Madelaine Petsch.

Riverdale “parents” Madchen Amick, Marisol Nichols, Skeet Ulrich, and Luke Perry also joined the party with executive producer Greg Berlanti and showrunner Roberto Aguirre Sacasa.

During the panel, the cast opened up about the return of Black Hood for the remainder of the season two episodes.

“I think the janitor being the Black Hood was something that [Archie] wasn’t going to buy,” KJ shared. “With more instances showing up that could hint towards the Black Hood still maybe being out there, it drives him to find justice.”

Roberto added that “We always knew it wasn’t going to be just the janitor, but for the last 10 episodes or so, we’ve had a pretty clear idea [of who it is] and have been writing towards that.”

With the Sabrina the Teenage Witch TV spinoff confirmed, the Riverdale fandom is going in deep with fan theories.

The latest one — that Betty Cooper’s mom, Alice Cooper, might be a witch — actually makes a lot of sense.

Tumblr user betty-and-jughead makes a pretty compelling argument about a potential Riverdale & Sabrina crossover.

“[Alice Cooper is] constantly using terms like ‘brew’ and ‘banish’ and ‘witching hour,’” the user writes, “and i’m wondering if perhaps she’s the black sheep of the family that doesn’t want to accept her witchcraft lineage and instead decided to shun her family, move away from SouthSide, marry Hal and build a fresh new life for herself.”

As a clever Buzzfeed video explains, it’s possible Alice Cooper has been hiding her witchy status to raise her kids as mortals. Witches are able to choose between being baptized during a satanic ritual or living as mortals in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comics, and it’s a plausible theory.

Danielle Panabaker and Madelaine Petsch look stunning at the 2017 Brass Ring Awards in Los Angeles last night (June 8).

The two CW stars, along with Arrow‘s Echo Kellum and Jane the Virgin‘s Justin Baldoni, stepped out for the even where The CW and CW Good were being honored by United Friends of the Children organization.

Madelaine‘s Riverdale co-stars Madchen Amick and Marisol Nichols, plus Valor‘s Matt Barr, and CW President Mark Pedowitz were also at the event.

The ladies of Riverdale doll up in the chicest outfits for their Paleyfest event in Los Angeles last night.

Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, and Ashleigh Murray joined KJ Apa, Cole Sprouse, Casey Cott, with parents Madchen Amick, Luke Perry, and Marisol Nichols at the event to chat about what’s ahead on the show.

The biggest take away? Jughead is probably headed for a breakdown (since you know, his dad was just arrested for murder).

“I think obviously as time goes on and these characters get darker and darker and the secrets get more and more revealed, he’s one of those characters that’s going to really struggle like the rest of the town and dealing with the fact that this town can be a place of legitimate darkness,” Cole says.

He adds, “But he’s experiencing it very first hand, which of course is going to be even more complicated. I think narratively, Jughead’s most touching narrative is Episode 12. Episode 11 is a very heavy Jughead episode, but Episode 12 is even more so.”

It’s safe to say Riverdale has one of the hottest casts on television right now.
