Nathan Sykes makes it just him and the keyboard on stage during the Know-It-All tour stop on Friday night (October 28) in Miami Beach, Fla.
The former Wanted singer will be dropping his debut solo album, Unfinished Business, this coming week!
“I think for the first time I’m seeing myself as an individual artist and concentrating on myself and my own music and not worrying about what everyone else is doing,” Nathan recently told press about his career.
He added, “It (“More Than You’ll Ever Know”) was unique to me. I wasn’t really paying attention to what every other solo male artist is doing in the industry.”
Nathan Sykes puts the finishing touches on a dish during the VH1 Save The Music Presents Musically Mastered Menu Dallas on Thursday (October 20) in Plano, Texas.
The 23-year-old “Twist” singer performed a few songs — “Give It Up,” “Famous” and “Over And Over Again” — to kick off the night.
Afterwards, Nathan headed to the kitchen with Chef Tre Wilcox to learn a thing or two about how to properly prepare scallops, the second of four courses last evening.
The event raised funds for the restoration of instrumental music programs in schools and the four-course meal was inspired by a song of Nathan‘s. Sweet!
Nathan Sykes channels James Dean in the just released music video for his latest single “Famous, featuring Madison Iseman!
“‘Famous’ is a song that was inspired by someone that I was very close to when I was in the band and when the band decided to take a break they suddenly stopped talking to me,” the 23-year-old former The Wanted singer said in a statement. “It prompted me to ask the very simple question what do I have to do to make you care about me as much as I care about you? Do I have to be ‘Famous’?”
“Famous” is set to be featured on Nathan‘s hotly anticipated debut solo album Unfinished Business, which is due for release on Friday (November 11) via Global Entertainment!

“Such an honour to be a part of @littlekidsrock fundraiser last night and meeting these awesome kids who put on a great show!” Nathan wrote on Instagram.

The 23-year-old British singer treated his fans to another listen of what’s coming on the forthcoming album, Unfinished Business, which drops in November.
“‘Famous’ is a song that was inspired by someone that I was very close to when I was in the band and when the band decided to take a break they suddenly stopped talking to me,” Nathan shared. “It prompted me to ask the very simple question what do I have to do to make you care about me as much as I care about you? Nathan Sykes steps out for the 2016 National Lottery Awards held at The London Studios on Friday night (September 9) in London, England.
The 23-year-old “Kiss Me Quick” singer joined boy band Union J at the event, where he performed his newest single “Twist”.
“I didn’t want to just be known as that guy from the band that took a break at the age of 20 and no one ever saw again,” Nathan dished to Billboard recently about his forthcoming album. “I had more to do, I had more to say, I had more songs to write, and I had more to give as an artist.”
He added, “When I got into the studio, for the first time I’m asking myself, ‘Who am I as an artist’? Not ‘Who is Nathan from The Wanted?’ It was a really amazing process. We wrote songs that really gave me an identity as an artist, and being able to drive that was an experience I’ll never be able to forget.”
