NikkieTutorials is opening up about how her past year has been!

The beauty vlogger shared her last video of 2020 and reflected on the rollercoaster of a year.

One of the things Nikkie talked about was her coming out video, which she posted in January, and how it’s hard to keep talking about it all the time.

“It is a little bit hard, because basically everything is about the coming out, or my robbery, or when I’m getting married. Whenever I talk to people, they’re like, ‘Oh, your coming out was so inspirational.’ Which, thank you so much, but then they’re like, ‘How are you doing after the robbery? Are you still getting married?’” Nikkie said.

“It’s like a bubble that always repeats. I came out under pressure and at the time, I mean, I’ve said this a lot of times, I felt like I was going to lose it all,” she continued. “Thank god I didn’t, and I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this, but like, to the one who tried to blackmail me, honey, look at me now!”

It’s just a lot of times I think back to my blackmailer, and I’m like, I wonder how that presence is doing in their life… The one thing that I feared in the beginning was that everything I accomplished or achieved in life, it would no longer be, ‘Oh, Nikkie won this,’ or ‘Nikkie did that,’” she shared. “I was scared that it would become, ‘Oh, Nikkie, the transgender, won this and achieved that.’ That has happened, which, if you’re part of the media, you need to stop that, okay. It doesn’t matter what I am, I’m Nikkie. Okay?”

Nikkie also said that if she had the chance to keep her robbery a secret, she would have.

“Oh yeah, yeah. ‘Cause now I have to keep talking about it,” she said. “It gets brought back up so many times now. I feel like if you’re not in the public eye, you can ‘forget about it faster,’ and now people are like, ‘Well, how are you after the robbery?’ People always come from a good place, but it’s a lot. For me, the entire experience happens again. That day repeats and repeats in my head.”

NikkieTutorials is opening up more about herself and her story in a new docu-series!

The 26-year-old beauty YouTuber announced that she has a new YouTube Originals series titled NikkieTutorials: Layers of Me, and it premieres in one week.

“This year I took control of my story to finally be free. Watch the trailer of my new docuseries, NikkieTutorials: Layers of Me, coming to @YouTube on December 28 🏳️‍⚧️✨ #NikkieTutorialsYT #YouTubeOriginals @lindahakeboom,” she wrote on social media.

Here’s a synopsis: In this intimate portrait series of NikkieTutorials, you’ll get an exclusive look at Nikkie’s journey as she became one of the most important influencers of our time. Get to know the ups and downs of her private life and follow her as she opens up and finally takes control of her own story to be truly free.

Nikkie will open up about her life, and her journey to where she is now, including her coming out.

Tune in to Nikkie‘s YouTube channel on Monday, December 28th for the premiere of NikkieTutorials: Layers of Me, with new episodes weekly. You can watch the episodes for free with ads, or if you have YouTube Premium, you can watch without ads.

Earlier this year, Nikkie revealed that she was almost cast in this very popular CW series, but she was too tall.

Selena Gomez is opening up about her dating life!

While promoting her new Rare Beauty makeup products in a video with NikkieTutorials, the 28-year-old entertainer dished on her personal life.

When talking about the bond she shares with her makeup artist Hung Vanngo, Selena said that he would be doing her makeup at her wedding, but jokingly added, “which is never gonna happen!”

“It’s hard [to find a man] in quarantine,” she added. “This is also not an invitation.”

“It’s just funny that I release things that say I want a boyfriend and stuff… and I’m like, ‘I didn’t really mean it, though.’ Guys are a lot of work,” Selena said.

She then added that “every one of my exes think I’m crazy, so, I don’t care.”

NikkieTutorials is showing off her brand new eyeshadow palette!!

The 26-year-old beauty YouTuber collaborated with Beauty Bay for the new palette, which features 20 pressed pigment eyeshadows.

In the reveal video, Nikkie reveals she was originally going to launch back around the time when she came out, but pushed it back because she didn’t want people to think it was a publicity stunt.

Nikkie also shared that she almost pushed back the release again because of her robbery a few weeks ago, but “the amazing team that I worked with for this project is Beauty Bay, and they assured me that I could take as much time as I wanted. They were there for me and after about a week of thinking, I was like, you know what, no. I’m not letting them take this away from me as well.”

“This is the one thing in my life where I have control over right now, and damn it feels good to sit here in my studio today, and after all this time be able to introduce you to my Beauty Bay and NikkieTutorials eyeshadow palette!” she added.

Nikkie paid tribute to her late brother Mikai, by naming a red shade after him. She also has a shade named Mama Tutorials, which is her mom’s favorite color blue, and a sparkly hazel color named Mr Tutorials, named for her fiance Dylan.

The new palette will be out on Monday (August 31) in limited qualities, so you have to act fast!

Sofia Carson teamed up with NikkieTutorials for a new collab, celebrating her new Revlon collection!

The two expressed their excitement that they were finally doing a video together.

“I truly cannot believe I am in a NikkieTutorials video!” Sofia says in the beginning of the video.

“I cannot believe we’re finally making this happen,” Nikkie said. “Two, three years ago, Sofia and myself almost collaborated and something came up. We couldn’t do it.”

NikkieTutorials made quite the revelation in her latest YouTube video!

While doing a makeup/trivia challenge with her fiance and best friend, the 26-year-old revealed she was almost cast in The Vampire Diaries.

The trivia question was, “Which American television show almost cast me to be part of their show?”

“I was almost cast as Meredith in The Vampire Diaries,” Nikkie answered. “That people is the truth. A couple of years ago when I was really young and just did a couple of Vampire Diaries makeup tutorials, the casting agency behind The Vampire Diaries contacted me through email and they were like, ‘Okay girl, we see that you’re a huge fan, we think you could be a perfect fit for Meredith.’”

“They basically sent me an entire scene. I had to film it, I had to reenact it. It was basically an audition tape. They loved what I did and they were talking about flying me out to Atlanta, Georgia, where they filmed the show,” she continued. “Basically everything was a go, we were looking at flights, we were looking at it all, and I told my mom, I was like, ‘Mom, I made it, I’m an actress, I’m flying to the US to pursue this career honey.’ And my mom was like, ‘Oh my god! I can’t believe this is happening to my daughter.’”

“Everything was a go until they asked for a last couple of details. They were like, ‘Can we just get your measurements for like the clothing, and can we just get like all this stuff to buy clothes and know how you line up with the actors,’” Nikkie went on. “As soon as I emailed them that I am 6’2″, maybe even 6’3″ at this point, never heard from them again. i’m guessing that my height, because the men on the show were so tiny, I’m guessing that it was the height that was a problem. But, never heard from them again!”

The part of Dr. Meredith Fell did eventually go to Torrey DeVitto in seasons three and four!
