Ross Butler Defends The Premium Disney+ Fee For 'Mulan'

Ross Butler Defends The Premium Disney+ Fee For 'Mulan'

Ross Butler is sharing his thoughts on the premium fee to watch Mulan on Disney+!

The 30-year-old 13 Reasons Why actor took to Twitter to defend Disney for charging extra to stream the new film.

“I understand the confusion for why we need to pay extra to watch #Mulan on Disney+, but here are the facts. Normally it would have come out in theaters and a family of four would have to pay 60+ dollars for everyone to watch. Now, you can watch for half that,” Ross writes. “Unfortunately it won’t be on big screen but we’re all still battling this pandemic and have social guidelines to follow. Also, Disney needs to make its money back for making the movie, which it can’t do if its just collecting subscription that everyone is paying for anyways.”

“In the end, we’re all trying to make ends meet. I think the premium fee for watching Mulan is fair and Disney not taking a huge loss on it will allow them to continue making great movies. I know I’ll still be paying to watch it when it comes out. #AsianPride,” he adds.

Ross also responded to a fan who said that Disney should just push back the release so Mulan can be seen on the big screen.

“I agree, wish it could have had the huge wide release it deserves. But not much we can do about it. Disney needs to make its money back and can’t afford to wait too long. It’s a compromise,” he said.

The 23-year-old To All The Boys star tweeted out his co-star and friend’s code, and had tons of fans dropping by.

“I don’t have animal crossing… but Ross Butler does, and this is his code. He’s been super lonely lately and could use some new friends.. Go say hi to him for me :),” Noah tweeted.

“Thanks @noahcent for inviting the world to my island,” Ross wrote with a photo of the game on his Switch.

“Thanks Noah for all these new friends. Just clapping on my island, making noise, being rambunctious,” Ross added on his Instagram story.

After all the visitors, Ross eventually ended up closing the gates.

“Alright guys, I just ended the session. Look at all these trampled flowers! Visitors came and they just trampled my garden. Not cool,” he added.
