In season five, Harrison, played by Tom Cavanagh, will take on a Sherlock Holmes persona, Harrison Sherloque Wells.
“We [also] have a new version of Harrison Wells again this year. Harrison Sherloque Wells,” showrunner Todd Helbig dished to Variety. “He’s French, and like his name suggests, he’s a master detective who’s come to help them track down this season’s big bad. He also motivates Ralph Dibny to put his PI hat back on, so we get to see these two out in the field a lot and see who’s got the best detective chops.”
The Flash season five premieres Tuesday, October 9th on The CW.
During the panel, it was announced that Central City will be getting a new villain. Chris Klein has been cast as a series regular in the role of Cicada, “a grizzled, blue-collar everyman whose family has been torn apart by metahumans, Cicada now seeks to exterminate the epidemic — one metahuman at a time.”
The trailer for the upcoming season five was also debuted during the panel. The show will return Tuesday, October 9th on The CW. Watch below!
During their panel discussion, it was announced that three new characters will be joining season 4 of the hit show.
Danny Trejo has signed on to play a feared bounty hunter while Neil Sandilands will play villain Clifford Devoe aka The Thinker to battle The Flash. Kim Engelbrecht is also joining the show to play The Thinker’s right hand assistant.
Season 4 of The Flash will premiere on Tuesday, October 10 on The CW.

“I think it’s time for Caitlin to take a break from boys, focus on herself, heal her heart and then move forward,” Danielle dished on the panel about Caitlin’s heartache.
Keiynan added about Kid Flash, “I knew it would happen eventually but I wasn’t sure [it would happen soon]. I was definitely surprised when I read the Flashpoint episode.”
Yael Grobglas can’t stop laughing during her appearance on AOL Build in New York City on Monday afternoon (May 16).
The 31-year-old Jane The Virgin actress stopped by ahead of the season two finale, where Jane and Michael finally wed.
“True fact, I was crying my eyes out almost every take of those two saying their vows. Got me every time. @HereIsGina @Brettdier,” Yael wrote on Twitter during the episode.
The next day, channel mate Tom Cavanagh stopped by to dish about The Flash.
“You can get killed off and not die; you can play more than 1 character,” Tom shared about what he loved most about being a part of the show.
