Sofia Carson Dishes On How She Sent Hundreds Of Demos To People That Were Never Listened To

Sofia Carson‘s road to success was paved with a ton of closed doors.

During an interview last night at the BBMAs, the 26-year-old Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists actress opened up about how she persevered and eventually found the perfect projects for her.

“I think we tried to count through my emails and the count was over 200 auditions,” she shared. “[That's] over 10 years of working for this and probably about a hundred songs that nobody ever listened to.”

Sofia added a little advice for anyone wanting to make it in the business: “This business is filled with so many nos and closed doors, but you have to know that one door is waiting for you, and that one door can change your life.”
