Candice Patton Has Perfect Response To Fan Who Says LGBTQ+ Characters Are Ruining Shows

Candice Patton is clapping back at a fan – for good reason!

The 31-year-old The Flash actress retweeted a fan that said he loved her work, but that LGBTQ+ characters are ruining television shows.

The fan’s tweet was in response to Candice tweeting about Euphoria. “I love that they have a trans consultant available on set for this actress. Love this character. 💜,” she wrote.

Here is what the fan wrote: “Candace I love your work but the CW shows like supergirl lesbian and trans . Arrow gay characters , both sexed legends lesbian , and now bat girl are all becoming obsessive flag waivers that’s ruining the shows not because it’s not valid because it’s ramming down throats .”

“Mark, You’ll be alright. I promise. I made it through my entire childhood and many years after that with mostly straight white heroes,” Candice responded.

“Thank you for supporting my work. I do appreciate that. 💜,” she thanked, before correcting his spelling of her name. “Candice**”
