Jake Thomas Is Bummed We Won't Get To See This On 'Lizzie McGuire' Reboot
Jake Thomas is reacting to the news that the Lizzie McGuire reboot has been cancelled.
The 30-year-old photographer was set to reprise his role of Lizzie’s younger brother Matt McGuire in the Disney+ revival.
Now, after Hilary Duff announced that the reboot is no longer moving forward, Jake took to Instagram to share that he’s bummed fans won’t get to see a grown up Matt.
“I’m bummed you all don’t get to see how Matt grew up. He was pretty chill. Still a bit of a cocky a–hole, but a good dude. Lived large. Spoke fluent Japanese. And was a total Elon Musk fanboy,” he wrote on his page, with a few behind the scenes videos and photos.
That same day, after the news was revealed, Jake and Hilary‘s TV dad Robert Carradine posted a photo of Hilary and Adam Lamberg (Gordo), and wrote, “Hilary and Adam Lamberg on the set of the Lizzie McGuire reboot.”
