Sabrina Carpenter Teases New Song & New Record Label!

Sabrina Carpenter is getting ready to release a new song!

The 21-year-old singer and actress shared a little snippet and teased, “tonight.”

In the clip she released, fans can hear Sabrina sing, “Maybe we could have been friends.”

Fans immediately freaked out about the teaser, as it’s been a while since she’s dropped some new music.

Sabrina‘s last release was the “WOW” remix with Zara Larsson in September 2020, and the song “Let Me Move You” from her movie Work It in July.

Another thing fans are noticing is that it looks like Sabrina has signed with a new record label – Island Records. They noticed she started following the label on Instagram, and the label also posted her new song snippet on their Twitter account.

Nothing official has been revealed yet, but all signs point to her signing a new deal with Island. As of this post, Sabrina isn’t listed on the Island website, and she is still listed on the Hollywood Records website, which is who she was signed with before.

Sabrina would join a couple of other former Disney stars in joining Island… Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are also signed to the label!

In case you missed it, see how Taylor Swift influenced Sabrina on the music she’s been working on since last year!
